Hi together!

First of all, let me compliment you on DA Origins. It's simply THE RPG game out here, not too long quests not too short either, exactly the optimal mix between difficulty, fun, video and puzzles to solve.

The only thing I observed is after playing six to eight ours, the game gets really slow (WinSeven 64bits, AMD Phenom QuadCore 9950, 4GB RAM, 74GB Raptor HDD).

Logially, I decided to buy and download Warden's Keep. And I played... Here are my observations on it:

1° Mouse clicking in rooms next to character does not move it there as I got used to in the main game.
2° Transition texts (Save/Restore Screen) are not translated in main language (french in my case).
3° Merchant at the end does not show up its shop when asking him. You need a workaround described here in the forums to get its weapons and armors.

Based on that, I'm not really eager to get more payable content, when the quality is at the same level. This is sad, because these elements really lower the gaming experience.

How is the general experience about the Golem content? Is it worth the price?

You have to leave and come back to the area to get the guy to be a merchant

The dlc is not perfect, Bioware know this and are working on it as best as we can tell.

The Stone Prisoner is worth the effort, as it adds a new party member and is much larger than Wardens Keep, I think it is worth the price, but like I said the content (like all the others) has issues so be prepared for that.

The best way that I can tell to keep these problems to a minimum is to register your DA:O key on this site, and log in when you play.

Hi!

Thanks for your answers! :)

@Tonya777: I'm gonna check the workaround right now.

@zartan88: I am registered and I log in each time I play. Furthermore, I have installed the latest patch.

Of course, I'll continue my game adventure and maybe I'll replay it with other options. :)

I feel the Golem content is a little out-of-character to the main story. I can not really pin point it, but it just feels different

Worth the price? Considering the ton of quests you get in the main game a lot of them quite longer than the Golem quest than my anwser would be no.

From what I can find out, the mage box is part of a quest that was cut.

You can't go back in the keep when you are done with it.

Levy won't be a merchant before you leave the area and go back again.

You get the Stone Prisoner for free with a new copy of the game. So it's definitely worth the price.

Well! I'm happy to read your comments. :)

I bought and donwloaded the Stone Prisoner and I observed the same translation problem as in Warden's Keep.

But MorseDenizen, you're right, it integrates nicely with the game's story line. :)
