I heard cheaters always tend to double post...

I read FAQ but I dont understand what to do if I unconsciously use a glitch...
I accidentaly use glitch on Noveria where I fall under the floor than appear on the LZ after that I die and mission ends.... really dont now wahat to do, I dont want to get a ban...
Or another thing that happens to me todday I was playin and I saw another player that he bring "package" to LZ very fast... it looks like he was runing an using "space" again and again so he goes with package very fast.. is it cheat? If yes, how to report him if I dont now his name?

Maybe he had a adren mod on? who care aslong as the package gat there, just play the game, get paid, and stop crying about how you didn't get it done the way you wanted

The whole "cheater by association" thing is going to give me fits. I have tunnel vision, really, when it comes to stuff. I may go to the store after every match. I may not go until I build up some bank.  So now I get out of a match and realise I've got almost 300K and have to wonder "was i saving cash? or did I get that all in one silver match?


This is why I never play pick up games with the same group more than once or twice.

I've found that you don't even have to PLAY the game in order to get banned, so it's futile to argue every "what if" to see if you will or won't get banned. If someone wants to ban you, you will be banned, it's that simple. If you know the right people, you can get unbanned. If you don't...oh well.

The Noveria glitch affects almost everyone.  It's right next to the common farming/camping point.  Anyone back-pedalling away from a fire-fight and dying in the "right" spot will experience it.  It would be extremely hard to distinguish between anyone using it purposefully, or accidentally, as it gets triggered so frequently in common play without even trying to consciously use the glitch.

As for "running" with the package, if it was a Krogan, Krogans can use heavy-melee to move with the package more quickly, and judging by your vague description, I'd warrant that is what was occurring.

Just got back from doing some double shifts, havent been on for a few days. My first 3 games tonight, I run into 3 different people using a striker and getting constant missle launcher kills...Funky business. Where's the challenge, I snitched on em.

He is making things up. There are no "right people" to talk to. You sent an appeal e-mail, it gets looked into and either you're found innocent or guilty. Dunno what he means by getting banned by not playing. You're getting banned based on logs and people reporting you which leads to an investigation. Of course they don't ban on the spot but in waves, so you may have stopped playing for some weeks, but if the last ban wave was before that, the next ban wave will include logs of you playing and if it gets flagged, cheating.

i didn't know this cheating went,i feel a lot better knowing that if someone tanks up 3-4 times xp than me,they're probably cheating and not me playing a poor game, thanks a lot , keep up the good work

You know what most people do that get banned don't you?

They buy another online pass, unless you are on PC, then you have to rebuy the game if I remember correctly.

Bans = revenue, so in essence they are resetting the cheaters to day one, they are just making money at the same time.

I dunno, an actual good player, or somebody set up properly for a match, can easily pull that ahead of players who aren't good or aren't set up properly.

If you aren't good though, i'd suggest talking to some of the experienced players, there are tons of tips on how to use classes, gear, and guns that aren't exactly intuitive, you just have to try them out.

anyone else notice the "please accept the updated T&C" before youcould enter multiplayer as of yesterday i think?

i've been saying bioware should do that for weeks -- a lot of people have been suggesting it. nobody has made good arguemnts against it (some didn't see the point, but i figured couldn't hurt).
thank you bioware. a nice big reminder to everybody that you take the integrity of this game seriously

Did not see anything about agreeing to the T&C again, maybe they have flaged you and this is their way of saying "Straighten up or your out"?

I was being somewhat sarcastic. But I bet if you knew the devs personally... just saying.
Still, I hate how there's not even a confirmation email to see if they received your appeal email or not. It's been two weeks now. This is stupid crazy.

If I have a video of cheaters, how do I go about giving them the video, because the file size is too big for email, even zipped. Is there somewhere I can upload the video and send them a link? Because I know they don't want us to upload videos of cheaters publicly. Or can I maybe upload it to Youtube privately and send them the link that way?

No worries, this happens to me a lot as well! It's a natural thing to happen in the map. As long as this is the only thing really happening, you'll be just fine.
