He was using a Kroguard with a Striker.
Wasn't taking my chances, so I did report him. I'm quite sure I did the right thing, even if I had no proof. I just hope he gets his due process and deemed 'innocent till proven guilty'.

Can someone explain WTF "griefing" is?
Thanks.
Griefing is any action taken for the soul purpose of making other people angry, or ruining the fun of a game.
For an example, if I were to sit there with a sniper rifle, watch my Krogan companion rush in to smash things in the face, and every time he's winding up, I headshotted the thing he was about to kill, thereby stopping him from ever succeeding in getting his melee kills, that would be griefing.
It can also be easily argued that leeching (running into enemy fire to die immediately so that I can leave the game without getting kicked, still get all of the points and credits, but never actually have to contribute to the game) is also a form of griefing.
If we were talking about something where there was a more compettative element, spawn camping and killing someone as soon as the revive over and over again would be griefing.

I am curious, if someone is banned from MP, can he/she just buy another copy of ME3 and register new serial with his account to play MP again? If yes, this will not really stop hardcore cheaters from cheating again. On the other hand, if they require to create another Origin account to play MP again, this prevents occasional "cheaters" any chance to redeem themselves without loosing everything.
I'm pretty sure it's option two, especially if you're a PC gamer.

Q: How much info do you give to those banned?
A:
The banning process is quite unique. Often we will not give cheaters
much, if any, information as to why they were reprimanded as we do not
want to give them any way to streamline their cheating to avoid being
banned. We do not currently give date/time/etc. information for any
actions we take and we will not in the future.
BW: You're under arrest.
Player: What's the charge?
BW: We're not going to tell you.
Seriously?
If you're going to bring capital punishment to video games, you realy ought to tell them why you're crippling their $80 game.
I think Bioware sometimes forgets we're paying customers... taking away a major portion of the game should be a last resort.
Sadly, their inability to fix exploitable bugs (instead of banning everyone) and EA's corporate greed is driving them down a dark path. It's only a matter of time someone they ban has access to wealth of legal knowledge and decides to fight back.
Thats the point.
Example given: Missile glitching
Missile glitching is just plain stupid.
But while it´s BioWare´s problem to remove or change anything that makes anyone able to use it, they punish the people who helped them to actually be able to eat each day!
In the U.S. you can even sell your right to say your own name, so EA and BW might be safe with such behaviour, if they make their step into the EU area robbing people of their bought service, they will feel the hard broadside of the law. Since they have probably some braincells left to burn out by doing stupid things, they wont ban anyone outside of north america for missile glitching.
Imagine you buy a car, then you discover a trick to use half the gas as advertised. The producer of the car (bc of their confinement with the oil lobby) find that out and proclaims in public: anyone exploiting the gas trick will get their car confiscated...
Hellooo?
Someone seems to like to walk on thin ice, this can come with the cost to gain a very bad reputation, as seen on, ahmm, boo-bisoft...

Actually the oil company comes and gives you some money for the technique you used for patent rightsand shelves it.
Unless some one else already came up with that method before and they bought it, then they sue you into a crater for patent violations.

i think you people sould stop crying and asking stupid questions. if you cheat in any way you should be banned period.what if this, what if that..if you have to ask these questions then you probably are not playing the game correctly and are cheating. i have no questions to ask because i dont cheat.
How is this cheating? If it is cheating, isn't the game not letting you use medigels or just taking medigels withouut reviving you cheating? I thought cheating was modding the game... in the beta (has that ended by the way) you couldn't play five minutes without falling into a glitch of some kind. Now it's cheating? Fix thegame. Stop nerfing this and upping that and just fix the problem.
Just sayin...

Good bet since some of them are trying to hide it by playing as the Destroyer. Since when his shoulder mounted Missle Launcher kills a ememy it shows up as a [Missle Launcher] Geth Trooper. So they figure they can hide by making people think its the shoulder when what it really is, is them glitching. I hope bioware finds a way to detect and ban these people it just takes away from the fun of the game.
Enemies dying from Missle Launcher kills takes away from the fun of the game? One shot Phantom kills do not take away fun from the game? Vanguard does not take away fun? A glitch were one rocket can be several kills your joy in playing?
Just sayin...

No but not letting the other players get any kill or even playing the game but going around and killing everything does. It makes it no fun when all you can basically do is just sit on your butt and do nothing. People should not be using the glitch anyway. If your good at this game you should do it on skill alone and not because of some glitch. An those who use the glitch should be ban or at least suspeneded for a time and have their characters reset and possibly a in game credit fine of what you earn from the match you missle glitch in.

It bothers me. BioWare really can't track down private matches? So if some ones not m.glitch openly and set it private they got away with it?? If none reports them (since it private) they risk nothing??
I always get upset thinking about it. I always work hard for what I have in the game. Others just cheats and get away with it.

I see all this info on cheating and it's very appreciated. So what's the best way to cheat and not get caught? This is a topic for cheating info right?
Well Creighton72, that is a fantabulous question! I just wanted to tell you that you can cheat without any repercussions regarding any form of discipline, kicking, or banning. You just have to follow a certain method. If followed, you should not ever be touched by those ratchet "cleaning fingers".
This is a topic for cheating, so that is an excellent point! As you can see in my previous "words", I created quite the stir. I just wanted to reiterate the fact that you can cheat without getting caught. Use your mind and nothing can stop you!
By the way guise, hi again! :-)
P.S......Figured I would just check up on how everything is going. That ban wave is fallen short in terms of time, aye? Hehe. Looks like somebody has boarded the careless wagon. :-)
Bioware, choo choooo! Full steam ahead!!

I play a game yesterday and one of the player take the object to bring it in the landing zone, he was fast it's like he was using a kind of protection that he was able to run.Is this a cheating option ?
You can actually move reletively fast with an adreneline mod on and walking sideways or backwards when carrying the object.

What's the policy on altering the FOV either through INI file editing or programs like Widescreen Fixer? I've just bought a full-HD widescreen monitor and I can actually see less things on screen than I can running at a 4:3 resolution at 1280 x 960.
