@bioware:

Err, what about the strange.. bug when you have the mission to get an object 2 an extraction zone...
Is it considered bugusing/exploiting when you sprint with the package?
(through using some trick by looking down and timing your pressing the "sprint button" at the right time)

plz answer this, I'd really like to know whether this is allowed or not (I happened to see someone do this yesterday on a gold match on FB Giant)

What is bioware's stance on playing with 6/6/6/6/6 characters obtained due to the current bug? Is it a bannable offense?

^ There is a bug right now since dlc that makes this possible if you get enough character cards of a certain type after already being l l 20.

^^ I don't know but I wonder how to fix this?
I mean if you promote the character, you may be blamed for... exploiting?

I'm wondering about this, too. It's happened to my Ghost, and I've noticed that Overload, which I had ignored up until I noticed the bug, sometimes works. It's also happened to my Engineer class, on my Volus. They're 15, so I don't think it's limited to twenties.

Either way, I think I'm going to promote my Infiltrators, and just not use my Volus until the class is at 20.

Yes, bannable if exploited. Those who use this glitch will have an unfair advantage over others. Please try and avoid this glitch. For those who were to unintentionally come across this glitch, there are ways to correct yourself.

Play another character of the same class until you can promote that class. This will reset your character's skill point allocations.

or

Use a powers reset consumable if you have one available.

After resetting your skill points using the above methods, only use the intended amount of skill points.

EDIT: added an "or" between 2 methods and fixed spelling mistake:whistle:

I believe I was able to fix the too many skill points glitch on 360 by backing out of multiplayer and then re-entering from the ME3 main screen. Or possibly I had to restart my 360, but I think it's the former, and I'm sure I got the extra points to go away.

in all honesty, it keeps happening and I don't understand why I have to suffer because of it? Please fix it or I will just playing cause I have a system to how I play and promote.

I'm not sure i would go about self-/reporting when i don't even know the majority of these offenses. I didn't even know there was such a thing as extra credits until i ran across this fact. I also don't think I've ever run across a missile-glitcher, so how would I recognize someone cheating if I don't know what to look for? I guess I'm gonna keep living in ignorance for now lol

I would like to know BW's stance on this as well, as I've done it a couple of times. It seems harmless enough, but I'll stop doing it just in case.

It's also not so much a trick as it is just rapidly mashing spacebar while moving forward. There's no need to look down or anything.

In August they banned 890 people, the ban wave before was 1000+, it is getting ridiculous!

I think the problem is their Guilt by Association law. Banning people for just being there at random, is like arresting an old lady for being held at gunpoint in a bank robbery

True enogh, they shouldn't ban people 4 being Member in such a match, there is a much mor simple and convenient solution:
"RESET THE N7 RATING"
Just the rating and some other stats, let them keep their equipment, but with this they get straight down to deadlast, but are still able to play (if the still do this on purpose, they still can ban them if they aqre too much of a pain in the A**)

Since ME3 MP is a cooperative game there is no point in killing other players (well, FB reactor hazard, killing off some really annoying teammate is quite amusing- on lower difficulties, since you should be able to solo the mission in case you end up alone)

N7 rating (and now the nameplates) are the only REAL gain in cheating, reset these stats and boom- the player will have to start from the beginning (though they should let him/her keep the character kits)
Cheaters will be banned anyways, they deserve it (if it comes to cheaters: "DROP THE BANHAMMER, DROP IT HARD"), but people who are glitching... fix the glitches and reset their N7 rating (even when having made use of some trick, getting the N7 rating back up is quite a pain)

Either I have a bad memory or I found a one time glitch... Again I think it was one time... I was wih a random team on firebase ghost on silver and one of my teammates and I rounded a corner and found an atlas. I was the n7 engineer so I launched a few grenades at it and my teammate appeared to switch weapons as if to pull out a missile. The atlas blew up and he switched weapons immediately. He was using he saber but the kill on the atlas said collecter rifle. Was this just a random glitch or a new form of the missle glitch and should I report it? I don't recall it happening at any other time during the match or in the previous match we played together. But like I said I have a bad memory.

I have been going through all of my multiplayer characters to insure they all have the correct number off skill points per level. However, there is conflicting information about how many skill points a character is supposed to have at level 1.

This is from the Mass Effect Wiki:
During gameplay, players can increase the level of their characters to unlock new powers. Cooperative multiplayer character leveling is capped at level 20. All classes start with 2 points at level 1, and receive 82 additional skill points to distribute as desired by level 20.

This is from elsewhere:
At level 1 you have only 1 skill point, at level 12 you have 40 skill points, at level 16 you have 60 skill points and at level 20 you have indeed 84 skill points.

So, 1 or 2 skill points at level 1? I recall that it used to be 1, but my level one characters have 2 points.

I'm not trolling or trying to be annoying. I'm simply trying to prevent errors that can get me banned. I was working under the assumption that this was correct.

level 1 = 1 skill point
level 2 (+3) = 4
level 3 (+3) = 7
level 4 (+3) = 10
level 5 (+3) = 13
level 6 (+3) = 16
level 7 (+4) = 20
level 8 (+4) = 24
level 9 (+4) = 28
level 10 (+4) = 32
level 11 (+4) = 36
level 12 (+4) = 40
level 13 (+5) = 45
level 14 (+5) = 50
level 15 (+5) = 55
level 16 (+5) = 60
level 17 (+6) = 66
level 18 (+6) = 72
level 19 (+6) = 78
level 20 (+6) = 84

However, that may not be so if characters now start with 2 skill points at level 1.

Ironically, I came across this glitch by USING a powers reset consumable on a Level 15 Volus Engineer.  The Engineer is now 6/6/6/6/4 and my level 20 Turian Ghose Infiltrator is 6/6/6/6/6.  Considering the only Engineer I like using is the Volus, I'm not thrilled about using another powers reset consumable to only possibly fix the issue.

However, that may not be so if characters now start with 2 skill points at level 1.

It used to be 1 because 1 point was automatically assigned to a specific power.  That has been changed and the user can now assign that formerly auto-assigned point to whatever power they wish.

My condolences that you have to adjust because of a glitch you did not intend to use and are forced to act a certain way so you won't get banned. Bioware is  the victim here and you, you are another offender. This kinda implied enviroment is really making me sick.

hey, people don't choose to be glitched ok, some of us just reset our powers and end up getting more points but this does not mean we cheat ok. and 4 the record, using a maxed out 6 level character does not grant u any "super" unfair advantage over others, u still die easily on gold and platinum and get sync killed and stun locked like any other and enemies don't exactly start dropping like flies all over ok. so take ur grief elsewhere will u.
