One buff...

Why didn't you just make it so ballistic blades could set of tech/fire explosions. That would have been a good buff.

Oh well, here's hoping they actually buff other stuff next week.

Uh, you do realize that they nerfed the enemies, right? Shield recharge speed was increased because the shield delay time was increased. That extra two seconds will be huge.

Also Phantoms are going to get mauled now.

^^^WTF..are you guys aware that the Demolisher comes equipped with a personal grenade factory?  There goes the Male Quarian Engineer...

I think better question is, why not buff demolisher grenades to match MQuarian? ;)

So that they aren't better than the Demolisher, I guess. Not that the Demolisher was lagging behind them. Overall the only black sheep in this week's changes. Rather pointless, unnecessary and just annoying. Not major or important, just irritatingly futile.

small nerf. about 13% less damage and about 2-3% less then it originally was before the buff. very minor on the pirhanna

what i odn't get is a buff to BB which is always awesome but i'm not complaining

also why nerf the QME arc grenades? they could have kept it the same or even split it half way or buff the demo AGs but instead they nerf the QME? I don't get it sometimes

class skill used for speed runs.

Speed run viable = Nerf.

Only half joking.  Yeah that is what it feels like, considering they added platinum at all, then they are spending so many of their 'Balances' on platinum instead of addressing the many weapons/ablities that still need a lot of work.

lol they didn't nerf them. they buffed them to eveyrthing but 1 shot snipers. they got nerfed to them cause their shield can't come back before a reload and make them hit shield gate. but now they regen shields faster and to a higher percentage. its a buff to enemies against eveyrhting except 1 shot snipers that hit shield gate

What part of the fact that I agree with the current step do you not understand? I'll test the weapon further, but I personally thought it was fairly close to balanced out of the gate before the buff.

Please don't lump me in with DNC either. By and large he is a troll.

I really want to know how those changes come to place, because I certainly can not grasp any rational method in that!

at least now with the changes to the shield mechanics...the "everybody dogpile on the Atlas/Prime" tactic will work better (as long as the Atlas doen't sync-kill anybody)

So were back to release piranha minus 2 points.
Huh.
Now if that ain't weird I reckon I know nut on what weird is.
I'm kinda happy. Kinda. Arc grenade I never used. Ballistic blades... well I guess I reckon I wreck with Batarians agains.
I dun want no crying left nor right over 2 points people.
Nerfers got their nerf and the nerf ain't that bad just release which was allright when it was.
Those calling for more nerfs kinda sound silly IMO.
Also if the Piranha starts getting teh same treatment as the Falcon from the community (Ignoring it's nogging) I'm gonna flip a table or somesuch.

Eric, why were you confindent enough to buff it on the 18th and why did you question your own judgment today?


Changes like this make me laugh.  Bioware should have simply removed their damage buff and left it at that.  To further reduce the damage by a minor 1.9-2.5 damage does what exactly?  Let me guess, the slightly less damage makes it perfectly balanced, right?  Changes like these highlight what is entirely wrong with Bioware's ability to balance their own game; they can't even undo their own mistakes properly.  Just look at the Vindicator for further evidence of these types of pointless changes.
