I think that this all really well done and incredibly awesome. My one criticism is that you are adding too many characters to really keep track of. The Cerberus leadership and new faces are good, but Kai Leng's squad should nit have so many members. Just one or two additions as a companion to Leng should be fine.

To you, an ocean of soda.
The molecular reconstituter will take a few years, but I will make you a soda sea (I hear the dead sea is particuarlly nice).

and that's a perfectly valid critique... This would work as a massive expansion of content -The Reapers would need one of thier own seeing how little they factor into thier own damn war >.>- and yeah I can see it getting confusing keeping up with who's who with the amount of gametime we habe -We'd almost have to go Xenosaga I to develop them all... and I've played Xenosaga one... no thank you, I'd rather cut characters-

If I had to cut down Kai's squad it would be down to  Zar, Triad, Fuegan and Shen -nice even five person squad-
since thier counterparts are the squadmembers you will by default have to encounter -Edi, Vega, Liara and The VS-  Garrus is deafult in a no import -yet Tali isn't... What BS is this?- but  I'd need to think out Kruze more so the four above are the four i think would be ones i wouldn't be willing to give up.

Really Thessia should have been the start of a second wave of missions instead of the start of the end game.. Then again I've alreasdy complained about that.

I find it disturbing that the Broker keeps a list of TIM's weekly sexual liasons -which includes Asari, Lengs idol is an Xeno ****er!, Athletes and Pornstars-

I'll go back and do the side missions

let's try to get through the already there Cerberus story and the New stuff

Thessia

Actaully this is an easy update due to the fact cerberus only factors in at the end!
but that means i have to go into the orginal content now ... phooey!

The Confrontation

After Shepard hunts down the Prothean VI Vendetta -why all Vs?-

Kai, Zar and whoever your other party member's counterpart shows up.

If Kai's eyes are Renegade glowing red and he looks like his chomping at the bit for a fight as you and TIM talk... your not gonna get a third dialouge chance and are stuck in the Hound of Hades path

If Kai sits and watches as though his studying TIM's behavior youand Kai will talk before fighting.

You can question Kai's devotion -and this time Kai is vulnerable to the Paragon/Renegade options- to TIM and That Kai's obviousily intelligent enough to see that TIM isn't the man he admires anymore.

Kai openly admits that TIM isn't the man he served for 10 years... that after Shepard destroyed the Collectors... His changed. but even now... Kai can't bring himself to doubt the man his believed... The cause his served for so long. He can't even if it's not what it should be.

This fight is hell and Two parts

If Kai's cocky and only cares for beating shepard, Kai spends the fight mocking you squadmates, and your abilities.

If Kai is conflicted him and you banter over TIM's pplans, The Cause and whether Shepard who has no real plan is a better alternative to TIM's 20+ year planning.

Kai and his squad all have three Bars -Health, Armor and Shields- Kai has ****ton of all three and can cast Barrier to give him a fourth bar-though it wears down over time, is nowhere near as much and is generally used to power up the palm blasts- Kai's brought a Cerberus Harrier with him and has a large array of moves to use seeing his a mix of all three forms of  Combat, Tech and Biotic.

Shooting you with the Harrier
Palm blasters
The Warp wave -it works like warp-
He'll either infiltrate to confuse you and go for an assissnation style plam blast-rips though your shields or go for a backstab nova.
He can do a normal nova as well if his close.
If he gains an after image, his using the adreline rush-IE the thing he used to blitz and kill thane- making him harder to hit and reducing damge-doesn't buff his attacks... thank god-
He has an overload move where he whips his sword and a lighting shots forward -think the ME 2 version of Shockwave-
A Pyro version of snap freeze -flash burn-
The Carnage version of Cryo blast -reduces your shield strength and makes you vulnerable if you get chilled!-
His Melee attack
and an instant kill Grapple-you can finght out of it for fairness-

-I'll only do the four squad mates i said I wouldn't be willing to cut now-

Zar is packing a Talon and fights simlar to Kai but doesn't use tech attacks like him, she doesn't cloak but fights more like a biotic.

Palm blaster
Biotic Charge
can Cast barrier -like Kai's it decreases over time and can be used up by palm blasts and yes they will not recast barrier till the old one is used up-
Uses throw
The warp slash
The old shcool Shockwave -looks like she whips her sword along the ground too send it at you-
a Somesault version of Smash
Melee attack and
a Grapple instant kill as well -to be fair-

Triad like Kai is packing a Harrier however he is also packing , A Talon and a Raptor -His the VS's counter point so he has all three weapons types those two have-

Triad doesn't have any tech or biotics... He makes up for it with have more versatility, various grenades and being able to mod his comrades ammo.

Talon "audio que is Switching to close range/ Getting up close and personal-
Harrier "engaging at Mid range/ Switching to old Reliable
Raptor "falling back for supressing fire/ Right between the eyes
Triad can buff himself with Fortification and Immunity
Mod between Flame, Cyro and Disruptor ammo
Uses assassination With the Raptor
Carnage with the Talon
Overkill with the Harrier
and can throw Frag, Flashbang, Inferno-get out of the general area even if you get out of the blast range- and Arc grenades... and if Zar or Leng are around they can charge them to Lift/Warp grenades -if you see the two of the huddle behind cover and it looks like thier talking... thats what thier doing-

Oh yeah... They have team attacks ^_-

and a Double Omniblade melee attack.

Fuegan is Vega's counterpart so His got the Highest Health and Armor of Kai's sqaud -less shields then them though-
and is packing Heavy firepower

Think of him like a cross between a Sentinel and a Destroyer soldier
His packing what appears to be a modifed Revenant/Striker crossbreed -it hurts like hell to be hit by it-

He can activate Tech armor for some added protection or can activate Devastator mode for increased attack power  D:
He uses Multi frag -can be modded by Leng or Zar to Cluster- grenades and a Cryo grenade
Fires Proximity mines in random palces that will trip you up once you start trying to get away from Zar and Kai at close range.
Carnage
Overkill
can activate a Flamer!
throws out and assault turret that follows him.
an Omni-Fist melee attack and The Stomp
can achieve a hunter mode where you get highlighted for more damage

The Lovely Shen brings a new twists to the battle as she comes armed with a modified Locust-with a drum barrel ammo mod- SMG and more nasty surprises. She may just be the most dangerous of Kai's squadies with her ability to just royally screw you over at the wrong moment.

1. Take out Shen first or keep her seperate from the others as her proximity gives them a health regen!

She mods her ammo, with Shredder, Polonium which posions you but that means you simply don't heal.. It's the dark red Bleeder ammo you got to worry obut being hit with.
She also has the Polonium grenade which lasts a good bit in the cloud and will eat through your health if caught in the cloud.
Neural Shock which is more of a stun then an attack but like Flash bang screws with your ability to aim and see
Neural Shredder which hurts and Resets your powers for a 15 second cooldown-gets worse with difficulty
Damping to lock up your current weapon for 20 seconds.
buffs her SMG with Overkill
Ballistic blades if she gets close enough.
has Tactical scan
and the Switch omniblade attack. -Destroyer's normal/"quick" melee-

but she is suppose to look like Lei Fang... so she's cute atleast :P

This is a difficult fight as it's Three on three and all three opponents would be tough on thier own.

The fight's first round ends when you defeat the two squaddies other then Kai -as Kai has extremely high values-
however you shoudl atleast attempt to get rid of Kai's armor bar as any damage here will carry over to the next round save for a slight shield reacharge-not much-

The Prothean beacon starts to bring the Temple down as you and Kai face off one on one in the crumbling arena.
Liara and Zar take each other out with a well time biotic exchange and The other Squad members will be enaged is mock combat and get cut off by falling ceiling.

You have three options survive 3 minutes -add a minute when going up in difficulty-
Defeat Kai  -doable if you weakened him enough in the hectic earlier fight
Lose, Kai defeats you... note if Kai is not conflicted, this has a bad side effect

The Arena is smaller and you have less room for cover and to manevuer

If you survive or defeat Kai debris picks the wrong time to fall and knocks you over the ledge allowing Kai to get by you

If you lose, Kai biotically blasts you out of the way.

Kai will retrieve the VI as his sqaudmate takes Zar back to the shuttle. as you begin to slip Liara rushes and catches you while Kai seems to ignore you both...

If Kai is not conflicted and is very much Red eyed Renegade...
Kai stops and utters the words

Kai: Dr. T'soni... Cerberus thanks you for your efforts.

Liara who is basically inches away from your face... turns to see what kai's saying... Only to get a palm blast right between the eyes... Liara's blood sprays your face as Kai walks away.

uttering...

I'm sure that hurts you Shepard.

Your other Squadmate will appear to help you up but ... Liara was dead before the blast exited through the back.

-que rageful attempt to shot down shuttle with pistol-

Kai and Co leave, With Kai smug on the shuttle ride.

As You can only lament the lose of the Catalyst, beign beaten, Liara's death and the fall of Thessia.

If Kai is conflicted regardless if you win or lose... He'll turn to fire...

utters the word.  "I shouldn't need to understand you... I need only kill you here..."

but can't bring himself to pull the trigger.

Kai simply walks away with his sqaud and seems solemn on the shuttle.

*que rageful attempt to shot down shuttle with a pistol*
.

Yes Kai's word's are call backs to Vigil and Harby

Thessian Aftermath
As you wallow in a bottle of booze about losing for once.

Leng presents the VI to TIM though he notes that it still detects Indoctrination presences.

Leng if loyal will note that Aulin's treatments aren't working.
Leng if disloyal/conflicted -Leng's character arc is basically a reverse Loyalty missin... your trying to break his view of TIM- that he may require the full treatments instead of the small spot job ones his been taking.

TIM asks if Leng's hearing the voices

Loyal Leng's answer is a cocky if he had only listened to them he'd have killed shepard instead of leaving you to die/settling killing the Asari ***** just to rub it in. TIM questions that Leng had the chance to kill Shepard but didn't take it. Leng replies is that he will prove that Shepard was TIM's only mistake and he hasn't proven that yet.

Unloyal Leng's answer is a simple yes-his lying he just wants to be somewhere he can think for a bit and 24 hours in pod is a nice place to think.- when TIM brings up killing Shepard or even Dr. T'soni. Leng's reply is simply..." Killing them wasn't part of the objective, Your always telling me to stick to the objective least we have a repeat of the Aria business." Leng then brings up that TIM said he wasn't counting Shepard out. TIM states that this late in the game... Shepard is a non issue and the next encounter... Leng has his permission to kill Shepard.

Loyal Leng offers for the full upgrade to Reaper Avatar status. TIM weakly tries to Presuades him not too but pretty much says he has the willpower to handle it unlike Grayson. TIM will make the preperations for the operation. Leng leaves... yet the VI doesn't comeout due to indoctrinated presence.

Unloyal Leng asks
The Visionary and Architect-She's still obscured by her hologram- appear to discuss the next stage.
TIM says it's now time to step up Cerberus role in the war -The Noveria and Tunchaka missions appear, along with new missions to Palaven, Thessia and Sur'Kesh as Cerberus tries to outright undermine the Alliance-

The Architect advises against such brash action... as Cerberus' own troops are becomnig conflicted about thier stance in the war.

The Visionary points out it won't be a problem now that TIM has cleared that ALL cerberus troops will recieve full implant levels and only specific operatives and scientists will be exempt.

The Architect was under the impression that Aulin's indoctrination treatments hadn't been fully cleared

TIM states that he decided to rely on Lawson's control method to keep the troops in line... Aulin's work will continue but it'll have to suffer reduced cut backs and less troops will be filtered to her for treatment.

The Visionary says it's simply a consequence of the war and that Cerberus troops need the implants if they hope to hold thier own against Reaper and Alliance forces.

The Architect says she'll need to run some tests and if She will be analyzing the Prothean VI, TIM politely rejects the offer stating the VI is too critical to be placed in any ones hands but his own personal science team at Cerberus HQ and the recent defections form Cerberus' science corps can't be ignored -Jacob's mission-

The Visionary suggests that two many in cerberus are use to the independet freedom of the cell structure... He suggests... Downsizing the command staff

The Architect argues that is an extreme and most of the defections are due to the more forced implantation in troops and sudden increase in "accidents"
-she's the newbie here but she isn't stupid-

TIM says he'll consider The Architect's feelings on the matter before telling her to go back to her work and let him and the General work out the details of how to run the cerberus army. -He then cuts her signal off like the gentleman he is-

The Visionary states that he doesn't know what's worse... Sulia's -The Architect's real name- idealism or Gideon's Principles.

TIM says The Architect is simply young for her position... and her predecessor's death was just unfortunate. She has for the most part been as coopeartive with Cerberus as the Two architect before her. and The General... TIM states his been like that since Shanxi.

The Visionary asks if his gonna tell Gideon personally about thier decision to upgrade all thier troops with reaper tech. TIM says he hopes the reapers keep him occupied long enough that there would be no point in argueing.

The Visionary then goes back to downsizing and gently implies that the other heads couldn't object to the full implantation process of all Cerberus forces... if Lawson's method was the only option... and the others only hesitate cause Aulin's work offers them hope of retaining humanity even if that takes longer and time is something they don't have as. "Sometimes to beat the Devil you must be worse then one"

The visionary then does the backaway fade saying that ultimately in the end... "it's all on your shoulder's, Jack"

TIM is left to contemplate alone as the scene fades.

-I really need to stop typing this up in the Quick reply.

The first conversation no, they just ****** him off as you'll appear to him trying to use your hero status to brow beat you opinion

The second conversation thier are point where the choices work and points you'll just ****** Kai off and he'll block out what your saying- and choosing to attack him really screws things up-

If you make it to the conversation on Thessia, You interupts will mostly work though there may be one or two that will affirm Kai's loyalty though at that point you'd have to be intentionally trying to make Kai rage at you.

It's very much like Talking with Morinth -which you can tell is a major inspiration here- You have to appear interesting to her, Bore her and she leaves.

With Kai, He has a high opinion of TIM and a low opinion of you

You need to pick things that make Kai question TIM's motives lately but doesn't affirm that your just using your image as the hero to justify your actions- as that just reaffirms his belief about you being like Anderson more about keeping your image then getting things done. -

For the person going in going blind no...-but then again if it was easy the first try it wouldn't be much of an achievement going into it-

Figuring the ones that have Kai doubt TIM are easier to spot

to figure out the ones that will ****** Kai off, you'd have to recognise what Kai's calling you out on.

The easiest way to put it is like this

If your Renegade and play the Moral superiority card-IE your the hero your right by default- even though your basically just as much of a pyschopath, Kai will call you on your BS. If you stick to the fact you were pragmatic or decisive -IE don't pull the Kai's wrong cause his the villian card- and You had to be monster to get the job done. -which for those who picked the sabotage cure.. kill Mordin and Wrex option is pretty much true- Kai can atleast respect your not deluded about yourself.
so it's easier if your more Renegade.

If your Paragon It's much trickier since Kai is pretty much your opposite. Kai will essentially question your will -even if your a war hero- to do what must be done. He'll note you'll gladly get yourself killed but what if the war requires the death's of others and not people who are willing to die but those whose death are an neccesity for victory. picking choices that show your resolve even echoing TIM's "You don't have to respect my methods you should only respect my results"

The Next few missions is like the sequence before Tuchanka just you doing side missions till a lead comes in since. -ala mordin waiting till Eve is healthy enough and the cure is mostly worked up-
Cerberus is using actaully stealth frigates -ala the normandy- and shuttles and you've already done Horizon so no easy tracking device ass pull.
Miranda and Liara work on figuring which of TIM's main bases his hiding at , Miranda mentions Cronus station but says TIM tends to shift bases every week and may have gone mobile since he will have the VI on his person.

Noveria , and Tunchanka's Cerberus missions are avialable the onyl real difference is you'll run into Avatar units and Operatives instead of just an atlas fight.

Ther rescue ex-cerberus scientist mission is alot longer and more fullfilling if you bring Miranda along... and Jacob actaully helps in the fighting instead of being so easily sidelined - remember when Jacob was a protagonist and could mow down alot of enemies?-

Here is where the shift in fighting Cerberus to the Reapers happens as Cerberus only has few major fights left  and TIM begins to basically turtle his defenses... though the Big reason is coming.

After two missions
You'll get a cutscene showing Kai about ot have his full reaper implants or Him meeting with the young Dr Aulin and entering an indoctrination treatment pod.

after three missions

You'll get a cutscene of Dr Aulin's failed assassination attempt by her techs, Either  two random Cerberus grunts foil it or Kai coming out of his treatment does. The Revelation is the Tech's didn't have any implants and aren't suffering indoctrination... meaning they had to be ordered by someone else.

After Five missions

Traynor will report getting an in coming transmission... It's a challenge from Kai Leng offering a Rematch for what happened on Thessia at an old derilect space station in the Terminus systems. -it's like the childish email except with some real balls this time instead of trollish logic-

Everybody and thier mother knows it's a trap, but With your leads not turning up anything and  Liara and Miranda unable to pinpoint TIM at the moment. You have no choice.

-Note get all the side quests you want done here and now cause the next mission is a long one-

As you approach the Station Joker will note the presence/absence of the Omaha Depending on Kai's loyalty.

If the Omaha is there the following happens

Enetering the Station you get an almost Western scene with Kai's main sqaud all lined up on one side and Shepard's full Squad on the other. -the only time sicne the suicide mission that you'll see Shep's full squad ready to fight- All the scene needs is a tumble weed and High noon playing in the background-

Kai admits his suprised you showed up, any sensible person would have seen this was a rather blantant trap... you must be desperate.

Your comeback is your desperate and couldn't pass up aveneging yourself for Thessia.

Kai states that TIM's finally given him the okay to kill you apparently his not willing to hold out for you to change your mind. He then comments in a rather underhanded way TIM feels that way about alot of people lately.

As every body gets ready for the oncoming shootout Kai's omnitool starts counting down... as if to signal the "DRAW"

however when it hits 0... Several dozen ships come out of FTL around the Station.

If Kai's not there you'll just find a drone doing the countdown instead and the ships still jump right on top of you.

Joker: I knew it! ,

however only the Normandy class Frigates are Cerberus... as the two Crusiers and the Dreadnought are alliance... 7th fleet.

What's the order of the priority missions nd Cerberus missions?

where'd i put that list AHA!- roughly off the top of my head the Cerberus Arc would follow along the lines of
Prolouge Earth
Priority Mars
Priority Palaven
N7 : Communications hub
Priority Su'rkesh
Grissom Academy
Priority Tuchanka
Citadel II - Cerberus coup-
N7 Cerberus Lab
Priority Horizon
Rannoch Arc
Priority Thessia
N7 Noveria
N7 Cerberus Tuchanka
TuchakaThe Bomb Arc
Ex Cerberus Scientist
????
N7:Cerberus Abductions

Here's where the surge new content would have to come for the Reapers when you realise a good chunk of half the missions are cerberus related. but the sihft is needed since after a certain event Cerberus won't have the forces to beat down on everybody any more.
So it look like this

Reaper Mission
Reaper Misson
Illium - Head Hunting
Reaper Mission
N7 Arvuna: Cerberus Sightings
Arvuna - Cerberus Head, the Architect
Reaper Mission
Reaper Mission
Reaper Mission
etc
Cronus Station Assualt -would be the 3/4ths way through mark-
The Rest of the game revovles around fighting the Reapers till TIM's confrotation on the Citadel at the end.

Eden Prime and Most likely Omega can be fit in anywhere you want.

Well i wonder why the alliance 7th fleet is there to discuss

Since either way it clear Leng's message -whether he sent it or not- was just to get shepard and co to this station

Broken Chain

If Kai is there his team seems to back off as an Allaince shuttle dock... Several Alliance marines board -all dressed in Black ops gear

The Admiral of the 7th Alliance Fleet, Gideon Eisenhorn enters.

If Leng is there He'll adress him by his former Alliance rank - Lieutenant - and thank him for his coopaeration in luring you here

If Leng isn't there Gideon will apologize that Leng didn't send you the message, He did knowing you'd jump at the chance for payback.

You being naturally confused ask why an alliance Admiral would go through all this trouble and have Cerberus ships with him.

Gideon laughs and then formerly introduces himself as The General, Cerberus' Head of Combat operations.

You again not running on stupid reach for your weapons but Gideon says thier is no need for violence. His come to make a formal alliance with you.

Gideon clarifies that  the current Cerberus is nothing of the organization he started with Jack Harper those years after Shanxi. Gideon is the Military officer that gave Jack command of the unit back when it was just one of a dozen nameless black ops.  They were meant to further humanity's place in the galaxy. but TIM seems more obsessed with enslaving those to his own will then defeating the Reapers.

"We were suppose to be the guardians of human... it's sword in a time of need and all I see now is Jack making a mockery of those who died for the cause."

Leng will bring up a current chain of hits on still loyal cerberus persona, some of them he was personally instructed to eliminate however Traitors and Liabilities are one thing to Kai, Those that hold the cause dear are another. since most of them were those in the field of treating indoctrination. -If not Leng, Gideon will say that several loyal Cerberus members have had attacks by fellow cerberus operatives... some of them clearly not indoctrinated or implanted.- Gideon can only assume Renault and Jack have decided to cleanse Cerberus of the undevoted.

You of course ask what's Gideon's offer.

Gideon's offer is simply... You help him seize control of Cerberus from TIM and then all of what Cerberus has to offer will be made aviable to you for the War... Which Gideon admits he'd like to get back to fighting.

Gideon reveals that except for a few major squads... Most of Cerberus troops are now conscripted personnel that are controled via indoctrination and through various channels. He has had Dr Aulin thier current expert on Indoctrination -with Lawson dead- using Lawson's data is currently creating a large QED transmitter which will break TIM's control of his troops by overriding the orders that these conscripts receive.

You can point out the obivous that your just being asked to brainwash the troops from one master to another.

Gideon says that's what it is in principle, The only difference is his braiwashing them not to be brainwashed -It's like ordering someone to breath basically- He regrets  that even if they regain some form of thier free will, Most of the implants and mental degradation on some cannot be undone even with treatment but with what's TIM's done to them it be better if they died fighting Humanity's greatest threat then wasting time killing each other.

You can ask why Gideon has now choosen to change sides.

Gideon admits his stuck with TIM through some horrible decisions, Letting Renault into Cerberus being one of them since Renault's the madman that helped TIM come up with the idea of dumping Eezo on colonies to create a new wave of biotics since natural ones were rare at the time, The Thresher Maw experiments on Akuze he simply allowed. The Results were unfortunately worth his principles at the time.

His guilty of doing horrible things aswell sicne it was his suggestion to study the Thorian Creepers and clone the Rachni in hopes of making an expendable shock trooper slave race for humanity to give them an edge over the other races. -both which went horribly wrong-

However TIM's mass implantation of most of thier forces, use of indcotrination and the fact his using his avatars to directly communicate with the Reapers giving them intel that is costing lives of human and alien alike is more then he can stand. He could premit it if there was benefit all he sees is madness.

TIM has betrayed Cerberus' ideals for the sake of himself and the reapers and his too blind to see it , He can no longer be permitted to control Cerberus.

Gideon says you don't have to personally accept since his already sent his offer to Steven, but your participation will be most appreciated. and the Offer is as good as it will be.

Gideon leaves, Saying if you accept his offer and wish to join in his coup attempt to met the Omaha -or another Cerberus Stealth Frigate- at the following location.

The Cerberus and 7th fleet ships pull away leaving only the Normandy and the Omaha at the station.

as Leng and his team stare down with yours it almost feels like a fire fight is about to break out...

"It seems we'll have to postpone settling our score won't we?"

Leng and co begin to leave... Leng says that Shepard should take Gideon's offer unlike TIM or The Visionary, The
General is very much what you see is what you get and he will honor his promise.

You can ask if Kai is TIM's loyal attack dog why his helping in all of this, why Undermine a man he admires so much.

Kai's comeback

" I took your advice... I asked myself, Do I beleive in the Man or the Cause? I came to the conclusion it didn't matter anymore cause the man I'm working for neither holds the cause dear or is the man i believed in for ten years." As he leaves " And even a loyal dog can bite his master's hand, Shepard."

Hey I've never done one of these before

A Hackett conversation.

After an awkard moment of silence...

Hackett is simply stunned that Gideon is one of the founding members of Cerberus, and he was right under his nose the entire time. Hackett wonders if he'd have been killed in the Battle of Arcturus and Ines at Earth... Gideon would be running the operation... Cerberus would be incharge of the entire Alliance fleet.

-That would be awkard-

You ask if Hackett is gonna agree to help with the coup or simply leave Gideon fend for himself.

Hackett admits that for all Gideon's faults his not one to back out of his promises and with Cerberus having the Prothean VI from Thessia... This migth be thier only option of getting the Catalyst for the Crucible. Helping Gideon's coup could effective spilt Cerberus... if not out right Cripple them. Though they have reports that  reaper troops and Cerberus are  now attacking together. Apparently they got over thier little infighting at horizon.

You point out that if  TIM has reaper backup, This coup will need all the help it can get.

-If Leng was at the Meeting-
Hackett asks where does Leng fit into all of this, He thought he was TIM's right hand man. and wonders if this could be a set up. Get you and Gideon in the same place and take out all the traitors in one fell swoop.

you admit thats a possiblity but Cerberus has all the cards either way.

Hackett says he'll accept Gideon's offer and will be sending  Marines to back you up at the meeting point. Hackett advises caution. This is a massive gamble and it might make or break the war.

Talking to the crew, None of them are very up with worknig with Cerberus -again!- even if it's the only option to get back the VI

Miranda says she only met Gideon once in person, She always found it odd that a man like him would be in Cerberus and make the choices he did.
Leng on the other hand she never really knew... he was always running in and out doing TIM's personal work... and the only assingments she every worked with him on , he did the grunt work she did the tactics,...always liked that he was ruthlessly effiencient... heard he'd like to charm the medics that patched him up at times.

-Yeah , I don't buy the Me3 portrayal of miranda being just a poor confused girl TIM took advantage of... Miranda was TIM's right hand woman for a reason so her of all people being appalled by what other cerberus operatives do -ones she most likely been incharge off- was laughable-

-Bite thy Master's Hand-

The normandy along with a few alliance ships arrive at the meeting to Find  five Cerberus Frigates waiting for them.

Gideon radios from the Omaha, -yeah it's the actaully Omaha regardless of Leng's loyalty- instructs for the alliance team and Shepard to relocate from thier ship to Cerberus vessels... TIM's loyalist will be looking for anything suspicious so only Cerberus ships will be used to get to the staging area.

-Say bye to the normandy for the rest of the mission-

Joker brings up that EDI's body can't function if cut off from the normandy.

EDI then pulls a fast one by stating she will simply download a copy of her full matrix into the body and when the Body returns she'll just reassimilate  it into her main core on the normandy thus It'll be just like her being in two places at once.

Joker asks if that's like cloning and if doing that would be like killing the clone.

Edi TechnobabblePhilosophical speaks at Joker who decides not to think about it. -it's either that or EDI doesn't come on the mission *shrugs* -

Thus begins A truly Surreal moment... you have the ME3 squad spread out on a ME2 designed Normandy -except the conference room is more like the ME1 version not just a big pool table-... run by REAL Cerberus troops.

In the Conference Room, Gideon discusses the plan, They'll be heading to the planet Anput - Anubis' wife in Egyptian myth... I had thought of naming it after the other dog of death but decided against it- Where Dr Aulin is constructing the QED transmitter in an underground base -The ground won't mess with the signal and it provides some protection- The plan is rather simple... Gideon, Leng's and your forces will be deployed to defend the base.

You ask why so much defense if TIM doesn't know about the coup...

Gideon reveals the best way to get the majority of the troops is to have them come to them and attack in mass, that way thier at ground Zero when the Transmission is made, It will also allow Aulin to learn the more precise details of the signals if Thier fighting them. Gideon says not to worry, The Transmitter will be up and functioning long before they make thier move -Guess what's gonna go wrong-

-You'll get a brief tutorial of the Deployment map, It looks like the oddschool ME1 map, except now it display combat squads and vehicles for you to direct on a battlefield .... like how the *****ing battle of london should played out... stop before i get mad-

The Tutorial is simple, eliminate the three simulation squads by ordering your troops -you don't take the field-

You have three grades of Troops
Common, Rare and Elite

Common infantry squad is basically a squad of four assualt troopers lead by a Centurion

Rare is 4 Heavily armored-shielded- Assualt troopers packing Mattocks and a Cerberus operative in Assualt Armor with a Harrier

Elite  would be basically be five Assualt Armor Operatives with Harriers
or  4 Assault Armor Operatives and Vega

Yeah however you don't have on your main squad, becomes a Squad/Asset for the battle to come

Garrus - Heads a group of Elite snipers -Mixed between alliance Marines and Elite Nemesis-
Liara- a Group of powerful biotics
Javik - same as Liara though maybe more like Phoenix style adepts
Tali - Engineers
Vega - Heavy infantry Squad
Kaidan - Mix of biotics and Techs
Ashley - Heavy infantry with snipers
EDI- Mech unit.

Gideon's troops and Hackett's marine give you mostly rare troops and one or two elites

Leng's strike team if part of the coup gives you a nice comfortable number of elites -all of Leng's Squad mates- and rares all together so you can feel good about your chances of winning.

and the common and Vehicles will be gained when you reach the base. -don't worry you get plenty of fodder-

Now comes the fun part, after the simulation

Gideon says the trip to Anput will take some time, He suggests you get some rest -Like Hell I'm sleeping on this ship!- and not to worry, Leng wll keep his men in line if your worried abotu your Alien squadmates. Leng might hate aliens but his able to restrain himself... most of the time anyway. You and your squad are free free to wander the ship... save for the Captain's cabin as long as you don't start anything.

You can speak to Gideon for backstory on him and TIM and Cerberus' founding in the Conference hall.

Fuegan is in the armory trying to get all the weapons up to scoff, you can talk to him for his rather homely personality and get a little backstory on him and Leng

Liara is in the Research lab puzzling over the things thier making. -Sien is there if she makes the cut XD- wonders if that's the remains of a asari... The Tech points out it's a Banshee. It was already dead when they cut it apart!

The CIC has Hackett's marine trying to just have small talk with the cerberus members there -that goes about as well as you think-

You can go talk to the Omaha's Pilot, who flunked out of flight school for crashing too much, She finally got the hang of it after the 7th crash... though they kicked her out after the 5th.  She actaul does strike up a nice conversation with you. If you ask her about Leng she'll just say, Leng's not the type of guy you want to be on his **** list. Then goes into detail of Leng using an underling as a human bomb to kill a rival gang boss that was interfering with cerberus activites on a colony. and that's just the tame stuff his done and starts rabbling before you wisiely walk away before she gets to the part about ...
Shepard: I need to be going.

On the Crew Deck, Shien is in the Medical lab giving last minute instructions to a group of combat medics, You can speak to her for some background and how she was brought onto the team.

in what shoul be the AI Core -it's just the processor room- EDI is looking at the data details on her replacement EVA

Vega is helping himself to the better stocked mess-hall. -as all the Cerberus guys can only think... That SOB is stealing my eggs-

The VS-Ashley- and Miranda are in the lounge discussing the utter weirdness of it all, The Vs comments that is must have been what the ship felt like when Shepard fought the collectors, Miranda tells the VS no, The Normandy's staff at the time weren't real cerberus. The feeling the VS is having is being surrounded by people that can kill you in three different ways and you wouldn't see it coming. The VS asks then Why Miranda's so cal.
-If Ashley isn't around Miranda will simply talk about the collector mission... and why she never got out of that office more-

She's use to it.
The Bar is fully stocked, THIS IS FOR DRINKING MY BOOZE LENG! HAHA HOWS IT FEEL NOW!

Javik hangs out in the observation room-alone- and talks about the times his people made unusual alliances... They tended to end with a prothean backstab cause they knew the otherside was gonna betray them first!

Zar is in the Suite room meditating and If you Have Kaidan, He'll be talking with her, and is disappointed and glad to see her at the same time since BAAT got shut down.

You can speak to her for background and alittle more on Leng... though Kaidan gives more clarity to Her backstory.

A  Marine and a Phantom playing cards in the lfie support room. The Assualt Trooper behind him desperately trying to get him to quit cause he can't beat her poker face. while the Nemesis and Female Marine egg him on.

Engineering: Tali is trying to make small talk with the head engineer, who pretty much ignores her... though the assisstant tech is atleast nice enough to humor her questions.

in the crawlspace Kharne -if he wasn't cut- is found reading

in the starboard cargo hull, Cruze -if he wasn't cut- would be here cleaning his rifle

and port cargo hull is more Marine discussing the up coming mission.

I shouldn't have to tell you were Garrus is... you already known.
I know what your thinking, He wouldn't, He couldn't possibly be doing that. especially on a ship that most of the people on board hate his Xeno guts -Gideon points out a common misconception, Cerberus is suppose to be Pro-Human-TIM and his love for Asari liasons should tell you that", not Anti-alien... they just tend to attract anti-alien types alot-

but Garrus is... Him and Triad argueing over how to callibrate the main guns!

If Leng and Co aren't part of the coup, Gideon will explain that Leng was "promoted" and his assault team disbanded, Gideon was given command of the Omaha to select a new team with the purpose of eliminating Shepard out of he N7 marines under his command.

Apparently TIM's run out of patience waiting for you to think his a got the right idea. -which never really mad sense out of either A: TIM really wants Shepard's approval... or B; Harby's obession carries over into his victims.-

Anyway if Leng is part of the coup once you've talked to most of the important characters, You'll be asked to come up to his Cabin... and in a polar switch of your first meeting it's Kai's whose barely awake and YOU crashing on his couch -SWEET REVENGE! now go down to the mess hall and still Kai's box of lucky charms and the circle will be complete!-

Leng: "Ahh, Anderson and Sanders are still alive... Shouldn't they have a kid by now another on the way?"

You can get more specific backstory on Leng, His first meeting with TIM, His thoughts on each of the heads and his reasons for betraying TIM -He makes it clear his choosing to betray TIM the man himself not Cerberus having come to the point he can see the two as different entities... While TIM is convinced he is Cerberus- You'll learn that that the Avatar units you fought on Horizon are more improved versions of what Grayson became -you can poke into Grayson for a little novel summary- where Leng doesn't really complain that much about Anderson shooting him... since he would have done worse in Anderson's postion.

Before you leave, Kai asks a odd question.

Do you ever dream of someone you killed? Leng describes almost word for word the forest You dream of... though his lucky his haunted by the image of Liselle the asari he murdered in coldblood.

The voices are those of his victims... and those he lead to thier deaths. Leng says his always been either able to Detach himself from the kills or enjoy them... There are very few he regrets doing.

It's why his very chumy with Aulin he comes for treatments often to make the dreams stop. -His thinking that it's the Reaper indcotrination screwing with him, since they have never shown the ability to control him yet, It's them trying to break him down-

the Paragon option is to blow it off and say it's Kai's conscience catching up to him and frankly your glad his losing sleep.

The Renegade option is to consider You and Kai are suffering a similar phenomanon...
However regardless if it's Kai's subconscious screwing with him or the reapers

Either choice leads you to ask the question... How long does it take before indoctrination kicks in once your exposed... -This is very poignant if you completed Arrival , snce you'd be exposed to 2 days of Harby in your head-

Leng says it generally depends on the will of the person and the amount of implants they got. Grayson's addiction to Redsand made him fold in a matter of days, Some cases it'll take years after exposure to the signal before they develop the signs. and even then the noted signs are incosistent. Leng admits that he always went for a quick treatment when the voices started to talk, since his full treatment-and the fact his not increasing the amount of his Human to Reaper tech Ratio-  his gone three weeks longer and counting then he usually has before the Reaper voices come back.

Leng says hopefully killing them all will finally shut  them up. The only voices he likes in his head are his own.

If Leng's not there, Gideon gives you the Captian's cabin to rest before arriving at the base, Miranda-if alive- will come up and talk to you about TIM and If you pull this off, You'll have a brand new Cerberus to deal with.

She says Gideon is already trying to butter her up and offer her a postion seeing how effective she was in the old version. Running off with you not withstanding.

Miranda asks why your so forgiving of her, on a good day she may have been more pleasant then TIM or Leng... but She admits she could be just as ruthless, just as cold, just as horrible.

I'll leave it to your imangination how you answer that one. -waits for a miranda fan to rant at him-

If Miranda is your LI, you can get a quick Session here -to make up for her lousy one in the orignal ME3 and she'd still get one before the Cronus station assault SO HA TAKE THAT LIARA AND YOUR Well pixelated backside.

Fun fact if you ask Leng why he wasn't on the Collector mission,His comeback "If the boss had a choice to make a first impression... who'd would you want, me or DAT ASS as your right hand person?" Leng's very impressed by how well Miranda wears that cerberus Uniform... though he admits that must be why Lacriox jumped through the ranks to take miranda's spot... She's the only one with the hips to carry the look or she's a blonde and TIM likes to switch his girls out weekly. -in joke to Miranda's original desgin and TIm's rather impression list from LotSB-

Either conversation will lead to a declaration that you've arrived a Anput, where the Base's forces are in preperation for the Cerberus civil war thats coming... They even recolored thier armor to make them different -Thier colors are a nod to the Loyalty colors the ME2 crew had,

Coup Assualt Troopers and Centurions are Black and gold,
Nemesis are Silver and Red
Phantoms are Black and Red
Guardians are Black and Silver
The Atlases are colored Black and Orange -GRUNT!-

Kai and his squad also have the different color skims and wear different head gear -You can bassically see thier faces now when originally only Shen and Kai didn't wear a full helmet/facemask-

" Garrus: Well, That's smart, gives us a way to visually differentiate friend from foe, prevent incidents of Friendly fire

Leng: I doubt it be "friendly" in your case, Vakarian.

Garrus: Leng, that hurts,  I'd figure our new found friendship would allow for the forgiveness of accidental rounds. Are you really implying that if I had the chance I'd shot you in the back of the head?

Leng: No one you've shoot and killed is by "accident".

Garrus: Well.... That is true.

Triad: 200 credits they try to kill each other before the enemy even shows up

Vega: Too Easy.
"

I prefer the company.

It kinda hard to do these when no one says anything
