Lets finish this! Just a few more! I can do it!!!


You'll see the massive underground transmitter -they'd built the base in to a large mountain- as Gideon takes you to met young Dr Aulin herself.

She's rather stressed at the moment trying to fine tune the signal so it doesn't endup causing peoples heads to pop, fry thier brain or leave them brain dead. The attempt to kill her hasn't helped.

 note Aulin is one of two people -Zar- that call Kai Leng, Kai instead of Leng,or You bastard/SOB.
You can ask Aulin the basic rundown of her work, position with Cerberus and personal life -if his there you can ask since about Leng- and how the signal works. 

You can elect to have Edi help the good doctor work on the signal -this will shave time off the timer for the upcoming battle... It's a survival/Defense battle- but Edi as a unit will be unavailable for combat then. So borrow from Peter to pay Paul kinda deal... if you have Kai and his team it shouldn't be a big deal.


Gideon will show you the Battle map and list  your assets for the coming battle... The Base has four entrances that must be guarded.

You have an array of Cerberus troops, Alliance black ops, combat mechs-not the Loki model something else- and Vehicles.

There a few turret sites and Mech dispensers -just continues to spawn weak Loki models or Fenrir mechs- scattered throughout the battle field that engineers can activate/repair - Thier grade depends on how fast, Common- takes about  a minute- Rare - 30 seconds- Elite -10 seconds- Loading Tali into a hammerhead and having her get these sites up may be a good idea

You also have a couple of Atlas and YMIR mechs... but I suggest using those as your last line of defense of the bases entrance. How effective the signal is depends on how well you defend it.

Gideon and you will discuss the plan... when he drops the real bombshell

Hows Gideon gonna get the Majority of Cerberus if after the first transmission TIM will most likely adapt and protect what cells his has left after the initial transmission.

By getting the Majority of Cerberus to attack them here... The Transmitter was part of thier Reaper control scheme, It was one of many... the others Gideon tipped the alliance off too... so at the moment TIM is gonna throw everything he has that isn't his personal guard to protect this one Transmitter, except he'll have to retake it now.

-That's why they don't just nuke the place from orbit, their willing to damage it if they get into the base due to retaking it, that can be repaired. but they for the most part want the Transmitter intact-


Speaking of the Devil TIM will make a transmission to Aulin to infrom her that her lab will be recieving a "personel boost" before Gideon gets on the line.

TIM is kinda surprised Gideon's there thinking he'd still be fighting with the 7th and Batarian troops in the Kite's nest region helping them make hit and run attacks.

Gideon asks TIM to explain the full implant decision of all cerberus troops to him without consultanting him.
TIM goes into poetics about needing the implants, Gideon being dug into Reaper fighting and that the sacrifice of those people's individuality is a small price to pay for assured victory and that ultimately that TIM is the one who makes thec decisions in Cerberus.

Gideon then asks about reports of Reaper Dreadnoughts flying with Cerberus ships and TIM communing with them through the Avatars. TIM goes on another rant about latting the enemy get close to you so you can more effectively stab them in the heart.

Gideon's last question is simple to the point... Do any of those troops coming have direct orders on TIM's authority to kill Dr Aulin as she has been deemed unnecessary for humanitys survival -that is rather specific-

TIM ... pauses and lights up a cigarette. "Don't do this my old friend, Not when we're this close to our goal"

Gideon: " Our Goal? Our Goal was to be humanity's protectors, and you've got us gunning down civilains in the streets. Our goal was to push humanity to it's next level, and you have us selling our souls to the Reapers and sowing confusion in our troops. Our goal was to be humanity's sword and strike our enemies... yet all you've doen is have us fight amongst outselves... I'd sorry, Jack I will do what i must to right what WE have let go so horribly wrong"

TIM" That is... most unfortunate"

Gideon " Indeed it is, Do what I know your gonna do"

TIM in full view presses a few buttons

-Leng if there has his omintool goes off, TIM's voice echoes as he order Leng that his new priority target is The EX General of Cerberus, having charges of "crimes" that will undermine Humanity's future.

Leng then walks up to be next to Gideon... acting like his taking the Call, "I'll have to respectivefully decline that order boss, I'd need more evidence then just your word on that one."

TIM taken abakc " What the hell is this Leng"

Kai's comeback " You told me to find and eliminate Cerberus's Enemies who are also Enemies of Humanity, I have finally decided to take your orders literally. As ever since this war started the Vorcha have done a better job of protecting and ensuring humanity's future then I have." -oddly enough with the Leviathan reveal... This almost is allusion to what happened with the Catalyst... gave an order they thought they were exempt from

TIM:" Your the last person i'd expect to betray Cerberus."

Leng: "I have never betrayed or faultered in serving Cerberus, and I was willing to be your loyal dog... but I refuse ot be the Reaper's dog cause you will it"


TIM clearly pissed opens a channel and pretty much growls the order out

" To All Available Cerberus Operatives and Units in the local systems, Head to the planet Anput and bring me the heads of the traitors Kai Leng and Gideon Eisenhorn!"

-You finally enter the Feed-
to TIM
" You sound rather angry today, catch you at a bad time?"

TIM:" Shepard?! Gideon what the hell is this!"

"I'd say it's a formal declaration of war on you and your reaper pals."


TIM: "Lacriox! get me every avialable assault unit and ship and have them over Anput in an hour!"

-TIM ends the transmission takes a deep chug of his cig and blows...

"Lacriox... bring me two bottles of bourbon... no i don't need a glass."


Meanwhile

Gideon" Well I think we pissed him off enough. Leng, Shepard get your troops into postion the first wave will be arriving soon"

-make your preperations and then talk to gideon to begin deployment,

Tips
Give your squad a Mako or Hammerhead so you can quickly get across the map and help squads that are in trouble

Use your engineers early to get those tech buildings up as you'll get very few lulls in the action once the final few minutes start to count down.

Place sniper units up high to give them a range bonus, they can effectively stop a infantry rush if you find key killzones. though don't leave them by themselves -while Garrus' elite squad has AR for mid/close range, common snipers only have pistols-

Infiltrator units are great for setting up ambushes but require alot of micormanagment, once the fight start becoming really defensive have them bunker up and provide support fire.

half way through start pulling you troops back into a defensive circle around the base as while your tempted to rush the major spawn zones, then enemy will start coming in from all directions near the end-the Last two minutes are hell-

You have field medics that can effectively revive your fallen squads and being near them gives a health boost.

Infiltrators and engineers can detect stealth units, and while Stealth Suit operatives are your first concern you'll get a few nastier surprises later.

You may now select who is in your squad, and Yes Leng is an option... -Have Garrus and Leng snark threats at each other!- 
- who ever isn't will become an Elite squad unit-

It's a long Survival mission -it's suppose to represent you being under seige for about Three to four days- I'm think 30 minutes and Edi shaves off  5 minutes to the counter -save often- If you choose to do the full time add a minute or two to the clock beats but know that the attack waves last longer then.

The first 5 minutes you have the most freedom use that to have your engineers get those tech buildings up and set up your base defense. any thing else try to use to harass the apporaching enemies.


At first they spawn from one direction at a time -Directly South, North, East and West of the base entrance- but is just a few Assault Trooper squads of four- five each and maybe a nemesis squad of three trying to get into postion and snipe you.

at the 6 minute mark,  A report several Cerberus ships appearing comes in.

Gideon remarks that his build thier own private shipyards and a fleet of their own idea paid off well, better then his rachni plan ever did. -If you get certain squads close enough and go to the combat map you can listen in on thier banter.-


They start attacking on mutlple fronts at once and come more in force, now usually having and operative leading the charge Cerberus also throws in thier personal mech line of Orge and Orcus mechs to attack you

8 minutes in the first whammy hits... Several Geth ships have appeared with the Cerberus fleet overhead... Remember what was said about the Reaper's could make easy shock troops by using geth platforms filled with Reaper code, guess who the reaper's told that fact too and let him have all the geth platforms thay had since he was low on man power and a sign of freindship to make up for that whole horizon thing.


Geth troops will start spawning in... -This is why you need the detectors bunkered near your perimeter.. ****ing hunters- Either from the corners in mass or they do the orbital drop thing they like


Halfway though you'll get a lull of a minute or two, Here is where you start playing defense, try to pick sniper location that allow them to pick off snipers before they can hit your defense line-

Aulin says she almost has the signal refined and needs you all to hold out a bit longer.

Gideon says he could use some reinforcements right about now...

Reinforcements do come.. in the form of more Cerberus ships, geth ships and THREE Reaper Dreadnoughts

As an Avatar gets assumed Direct control on the Cerberus Command Ship. It and TIM discuss the terms of the battleplan. TIM promises them Shepard's body if they leave the Transmitter intact -The Reapers seeing the Transmitter as a way to broadcast thier indoctrination signal on a galaxy wide scale agree.


Yep... thats right... the last half of this mission you holding off the combined might of Reaper, Cerberus now with thier  Avatar units and Geth forces. -you may bend over and attempt to kiss your ass goodbye-Cerberus is now fielding a new unit the Praetor... Clad in HADES armor they are the visionary's and TIM's personal sqaud of troops.

just keep your troops tight and you'll pull thourgh


the last 3 minutes is the moment of truth... As the combined forces will basically spawn in mass along the borders of the map and slowly close in on you  as a circle of Death! The minute before it hits Zero Aulin will say she preparing to fire the signal.


As the timer hits Zero Aulin  proclaims she has it and fires off the Signal the encompasses the fleet and entire area around you.


Lacriox detects the wave coming is able to warn a few bases before she uses Cronus' shield to encompass it's defense fleet- while TIM wonders what the hell just happened.



On the ground as the coup forces fight on, the Cerberus troops have stopped as if frozen as the Geth and Reaper troops rush by, one of the Praetors -who thanks to thier armor were shielded from the signal burst and a few Avatars as well- Asks whats wrong and orders them to get to fighting.


up in Space The Reaper Avatar orders the two dreadnoughts to eliminate the the transmitter.  The Reapers shouldn't need to make deals with Organics and doesn't care if Harbinger wills it before turning to the cruiser commander for a report...

A few Seconds later, The commander snaps too and apologizes he was receiving new orders form command. the Avatar turns around Saying his altering the deal and the Transmitter is too Dangerous to keep active... not noticing the Commander pull his Talon form it's holster...... a fade out ,a red spalt hitting the Crusier window and the Reaper Dreadnought suffereing a instant shutdown... cues the Cerberus fleet to attack and blow the Geth and and the shut down reaper to pieces.

The Two that were heading toward the planet turn and one of the gets a face full of thanix cannons- about fifty- while the others gets hit from all sides by the Frigates. The Two are effectivelt blow to bits in a mater of seconds.


Meanwhile

The Centurion snaps too and orders his men.. Make Humanity proud... Before the Cerberus Troops start to gun down thier Praetor commanders and fire on the Reaper and Geth troops.


The reaper troops like thier Dreadnought bosses are pretty much so blind sided that by the the time they even start fighting back most of them are dead, sandwiched between the two lines.


Gideon -if you defended the base well enough Gideon will be fine... defend it poorly Gideon will be mortally wounded- opens a Channel to all Cerberus operatives and stations... and asks for a call to reason, That TIM and himself has used those that believed in the ideals in the future of humanity. He says he can no longer stand to watch humanity fight itself over such petty things, while They very aliens we seek to surpass, we claim to wish to be like, that some claim to be inferior, Fight united against the greatest enemy of our time.

This is his penance for all the wrongs he has done to those in Cerberus, the Alliance, The aliens and any other -except you space cows... you going to jail!-... That this day- his death if dying - He will forge a new sword and those that wish to defeat the Reapers, Secure humanity's future should follow him and those that fight the Reapers.


outside a Centurion approaches You and Leng, stating his squad is here to report for duty.

inside the command Center, the general activates a Honeycomb like interface... as one by one the segments light up green as Cerberus Cells contact him and call him General...-if his dying he slumps to the floor with a smile- TIM listens and blacks out each square that reports in into till only a few remain around the core section. the ones still loyal.


TIM pops a bottle of Burbon and raise it to the Screen


" Gideon... Shepard... Well played... well played indeed" as he takes a deep drink-

The geth seem kind of pointless to bring into this conflict.  The idea of Cerberus forces and reapers working together is good, but the geth are kind of redundant and pointless

I admit it does when you think about it from the Rannoch resolution, that enemy geth shouldn't exist since the Geth are Dead/Good now

 but at the same time

it doesn't if you think about it from the villian prespective

The Geth in Multiplayer get the excuse of just being platforms full of reaper code -thier basically Geth husks-

TIM has always wanted an army of Geth-willing to buy legion off you, project overlord- etc, Now TIM is shorthanded in manpower thanks to the Coup so he needs some form of Shocktrooper to compensate for his numerical disadvantage

from a Gameplay prespective

It's what we call switching it up, You've noticed that Cerberus gets alot of new units here to keep you on your toes, well the idea of mixing factions never happens in Me3 even though all three factions are more or less extensions of the Reapers' forces.


From a personal prespective

I wanted the mission to be not only unique... but make you feel like you beat the odds, cause it's for the most part a suicide mission/last stand setup.

and the idea of Mixing all the main baddie factions together in an epic assualt... Just hard to resist -shrugs-

Depending how well you defended the transmitter determines

Whether Gideon and Aulin live -

How many Cerberus troops you get control of
How many you kill due to unstable signal
How many remained loyal to TIM-this effects the last few cerberus missions-

other factors for the Cerberus faction of the War assets
Leng and his Strike team being part of the coup

Whether you destroyed the collector base or not will effect the strength of the Cerberus fleet... cause if you didn't Cerberus will have used the Reaper parts of the Human reaper they were building to make thier guns more powerful... which then gets applyed to all the ships in the fleet -due to them all getting retrofitted with the new tech- causing a overall boost in all factions as the Reapers are starting to lose engagments.

Aftermath

Gideon, Hackett and Anderson are on  in the conference room, The Cerberus cells on Mars and Earth are now giving full support to the resistance and the stealth frigates are allowing them to bring in limited reinfocrements and supplies. It's nothing tide turning but it stems the bleeding.


Gideon reports that most of the 7th and 5th fleet are being retrofitted with improved weapons and barriers. With the Cerberus Fleet playing hit and run and picking off Reapers where they can.

Hackett admits thier finally getting a kill count, and once they get the fleets retrofitted, the fight will get a lot more even. Thier already seeing success in reaper held territory. Though it will only last till the Reapers adapt.

You ask about TIM and his movements.

Gideon states They know where TIM is but His somehow gotten a wall of Reapers to defend him... He doesn't want to know what kinda deal e struck.

Hackett states that for the most part TIM's Cerberus has fallen of the radar as if they've shut down and decided to huddle down for the tiem being.

Anderson -if Leng is with you- can't believe you have that SOB Kai Leng working with you -which Leng shows up--

Anderson is not pleased!

Leng says that for the most part the new colors give the new cerberus a stark enough look that people are fortunately not shooting first when they show up to help... the tend to have that effect on people.

He also says his taken care of the problem Gideon ordered him to do. -destory the Transmitter so The Reapers or TIM can't reusue it against them-

Hackett offers the idea that You and Leng stcik together as a sign of cooperation between the two sides

Neither of you are thrilled by the idea

Gideon offers Kai should serve under him, The Omaha and his team would be a more valauble asset if he was leading it.

Anderson admits thats true... but he'd prefer Leng be under Alliance Supervision and on a tight lesh just in case.

Leng snarks that Anderson does care.

Hackett says it's ultimately up to you...

Leng admits it doesn't matter since the two of you can't settle the score till after the wars over anyway.

Leng will ask about Aulin before leaving , to either head back to the Omaha to raise hell with his squad or head down and work Jack's little space into a private command center- if she survived- Hackett has her at a new base working on indoctrination defense.

Hackett says that with TIM  laying low now, they can focus operations against the Reapers.  -Terra nova plot or something-

Depending on how the coup worked out, Either Hackett or Gideon will contact you. The Head of Cerberus Research and Development... The Architect, Sulia Alfhild sole Heiress of Jomurgand Technologies has finally come up for air since Cerberus went dark after TIM effectively lost any chance of competing, and even with most of his troops gone... TIM is still doing cutbacks... Several of cerberus  bases are now  Reaper dens and TIM keeps pushing for a "Private" meeting between the Him and Renault.

Sulia is willing to talk -she more willing to talk if Gideon survived his coup attempt- but Your warn that She most likely will go into hiding if TIM has truly reached the point of seeing enemies everywhere.


If Gideon is alive you can ask into the Backstory. Sulia's Grandfather was the original Architect that helped TIM in the Busniess sector- How TIM became a Billionare from beign a soldier for higher- and was the guy that gave them the Resources and capital to really expand Cerberus once it went off the radar. He unfortunately died due to his heart about 15 years ago. His son took over for him till about a year after the Citadel battle where he was killed in a lab accident. Sulia being his sole child gain the company... which was largely tied to Cerberus so TIM thoguht bringer her in was a smart move.

You can ask about the other... but Gideon will say he has no interest in talking about that Maniac.

Sulia's last location was at the Jomurgand complex on Illium... though you do get the warning... If the Alliance knows... TIM most likely knows and he most likely isn't in the mood for traitor.


Head off to Illium!

The Jomurgand Complex is a fairly fortified building with Sulia's personal "Hoplite"guards protecting it.
before you arrive though A Lone Cerberus fighter lands on the complex's private land pad.

The three guards order the person to come out.

Depending on your choices... The three will be quickly killed by the specter like-as in the ghost- Operative Dist Think Vector/HUNK from Resident evil operation raccon city  or... They get Sith Biotic'd by the New and improved Reaper Avatar Kai Leng -as in picked up and snapped in two like a stick- who proceeds into the complex.


You unfortunately stumble right into this and after entering the Facility, and meeting Dist/Leng... They play it just right to make the responding Guards to think you have broken in.

Leng says he has no time to play with you now

While Dist doesn't say anything... if you have Leng in the Party he'll mention , He was the dog they kept on a Leash... Dist in the dog they keep in a cage, TIM must be desperate to let him loose.

You now unfortunately have to fight your way through the guys trying to protect the person your here to save.

The hoplites come in four flavors, Assualt rifle troopers, Snipers, Grenade Launcher and a Commander. Thier back upped with Improved Fenrir, Loki and MFing YMIR mechs,.


Sulia will be  confused by the Alliance trying to kill her but Her body guards  will tell her they need to get her out of the building.

Eventually The Guards will figure out your not the problem and fall back to.. A Tram that leads out of the Facility... You barely get onto it before it leaves.


Sadly your stuck outside so you have to make your way to the front while Kai/Dist is slaughtering his way up through the cabins.

Then Lacriox and a bunch of  TIM's Cerberus Shuttles show up- I will refer to TIm's Cerberus forces as just cerberus from now on, and Refer to Gideon's as Cerberus II-

... Now you have abunch of Cerberus troops dropping in on you, with Lacroix and snipers taking potshots from Shuttles... on a moving bullet train.

Then about halfway up, A Cerberus Frigate flies over head and drops Avatar units and Cerberus controlled Brutes.

Joker and the Normandy finally get something to shot... but then the Craziness goes up when two more frigates show up.

So now your stuck on top of a bullet train fighting combined Reaper and Cerberus troops, while Joker is having a two on one dogfight through the Illuim skyline... Where's Conrad with the nuke breifcase saying don't worry shepard the bombs right here.


Finally Dist/Leng will be forced to the roof by two of Sulia's bodyguards... who will make the sacrifice of cutting the train sections apart allowing Sulia to escape. The Two will rush up to fight Dist/Leng and you'll finally be able to engage Dist/Leng in a fight.

The Two bodyguards are armed with a Revenant and a Claymore... doesn't mater as Dist/Leng will quickly kill one of them when you reduce his shield to 3/4 and the other when the shield's gone... -Dist uses Shadow strike on one and a Carnage palm blast

Dist fights very much like a phantom excpet for a few things  he seems to favor tech/combat powers of ver the few bitoics he shows.

He essentially has Blastic blades and a knife throw that doubles as a sticky grenade-cuase it's stuck in you -
He uses a shadow strike. While he does have the gauntlet blaster

He seems to prefer a semiautomatic Talon.

He has what appears to be a wrist monted flamer-though it's more along the lines of the Reeager Carbine, He fights alot more cautiously and prefers to infiltrate alot... confusing you when he uses decoy to set you up.

He displays Reave and Throw-yes he will try to detonate you- but doesn't have charge-he has infiltrato/shadow striek who needs Charge-


Reaper Kai on the other hand... Well His gone into full rush you over agression territory. His duel wield blades now, having shoulder mounted guns, He still has most of his biotic powers like thessia and casts barrier alot more. He can now set his swords on fire to up it's damage to near ohko levels and is cosnatntly pressuring you...

His newest power is slam... the area below you will light up so run or dodge roll not to get caught it. -meaning don't camp... us cover only to steady your aim!-

Whoever you fight will be interrupted by Joker shooting down the last Cerberus frigate and it trying to suicide into you.


unfortunately Sulia has gone to ground, which is a loss as she was most likely holding the advance data from the Mars archives- how does TIM translate it faster then Liara?- and other cerberus projects. Such Data would be invalauble at this point in the war.

As a side note


While Kai says Dist must have been let out recently... You can spot him throughout the prioty missions stalking you.

Palaven, When you and Garrus go looking for Victus... His at one of the little makeshift airfields -where two of three fighters are just parked-
Sur'Kesh, at the spot where Wrex flies by you, His in one of the doorways on the building across

True and you can't even blame that on Javik being a product of the war


Liara just assumed they were the only space faring race... instead of thinknig the more logical possiblity... The Prothean's were basically Romans. What is it with assuming alien races reach a point of enlightenment and can go beyond "trivial" concepts of war and conquest... Miranda and Liara have narrowed down where Sulia could have run to, leading you to the Water planet of Arvuna.
Almost to validate your claims are sightings of Cerberus activity and shipments of supplies being left at drop points and then vanishing. Hackett wants you to attempt to locate Sulia, As the Architect, She'll most likely have a copy of most of Cerberus scientific research on the Reapers and what they've learned from the archives... and hopefully the VI.Either Presuade her or take it by force. The Reaper's new offensive push is starting to strain troops even with the turn around in the fighting. The Crucible needs the Catalyst.


Edi composites that Sulia must be hiding in a mobile marine vessel, and any loyalist cerberus troops hunting her must be the ones TIM can spare. You pick the location of a suspected drop point near a Wave motion powerplant.


after a few minutes of waiting banter, EDI detects something approaching... but it's just a squad of Cerberus troops leading to the first fire fight. After dispatching them something akin to a massive flashbang/stun grenade hits your location while it knocks ou ot or a moment you awaken just in time to catcdh the image of a massive Submarine/Crusier and Sulia's personal guard loading supplies onto it. You and your squad attempt to sneak on board but are seperated in the desperate dash to get  inside before the ship submerges.

Now begins the mission, Sneak around the ship, meet up with your squad and locate Sulia's control room.

This can either be a sneaking mission or a rambo mission., your choice.
Though Ramboing makes it kinda hard to talk Sulia down.

anywho Based on if Gideon is alive, and whether or not you massacred your way to her. Sulia will either pull out a Mech suit  for an improtu boss fight or  listen to your offer for Alliance protection.

Again if you presuade her, she'll join without much issue... if you don't expect said boss fight.

followed by a little more convo you'll  return to the docks...  for a pickup... when Dist shows up -round 2! or Round 1 if Kai is still with TIM-

Either one is trying to off Sulia or still the Data cahce you got from her.

After a boss battle, Dist loses his mask and... well he is not pretty. If Kai is still with Cerberus, when Dist returns to the Cerberus HQ, Kai will kill him. If not only a Scene of TIM and Renault talking about going all the way for the cause is shown.-Renault is now there in person in TIM's room- Only one can be the Reaper's master if the data is correct. TIM notes that Renault doesn't react to the indcotrination signal like most others... It's what makes Him and Dist unique. Renault says that TIM has held a heavy burden since his encounter with the Reaper artifact, that all those years shows that TIM's will is to ironclad to be corrupted by the Reapers.

TIM says, He'll leave everything else to Renault as Lacriox comes in to tell him that Dr Jana is ready for the operation.

TIM and Renault have one last drink together as the scene fades to black.


Back on the Normandy Hackett -and Gideon if his alive- comment on how you dealt with  Sulia -Gideon laments her death or states that her connections and smuggling lines are much needed boon.-

Hackett states that the Archive she had has put them back into the war... but the data from the VI was nowhere to be found.

There is only one place to get it... Cronus Station

-Miranda had pointed out that Cronus was the most likely place where TIM was... but a large Reaper presence and a more aggressive cerberus fleet prevented any attempt to varify-

Apparently the Reapers have abandoned Cerberus and are focusing on major homeworld's leaving TIm to fend for himself and Cerberus activity shows them amassing around Cronus station.

Something big is happening and it's time to put an end to TIM's vision.



This chapter is mostly a breather and calm before the strom.


Next update will be the start of the Finale for Hound of Cerberus, Cronus Station!

but BY GOD i'm gonna finish this insane rambling if it kills me! -looks around for EA Ninjas least they silence-


Finale, Cronos Station

Admiral Hackett reports that Reaper activity has changed, thier actaully falling back and focusing on defenesive positions... like thier preparing for something... Key worlds that most of the fleet were avoiding now have reduced reaper presence to the ponit that a counter offensive is possible. -We know thier gearing up for the attack on the Citadel and are gonna focus thier forces around Earth-

Miranda says this is the opening they've been waiting for, as the Cerberus Base that is the most likely location of TIM is now exposed and no longer has Reaper protection.

-Kai, Gideon and Sulia will add additional info if thier on your side/survived thier ordeals-

Liara and EDI will have used thier various sources to confirm that Both TIM and the remaining Cerberus Head, Renault have been confirmed on the station.

Gideon explains that Renault was one of Humanity's first biotics, TIM and Him brought him into cerberus due to his ability to garner support, his understanding of biotics, and ability sway people into following him. Gideon admits that was mistake as it was Renault and TIM's briallant idea to dump eezo on several colonies to increase the number of biotics humanity had. If there was a crazed bitoic militant group 9 times our of ten... Renault was behind them.

Hackett will explain that while a good chunk of Cerberus is gone, what's left of thier forces and fleet is still dug in. Any attack will catch the reaper's attention and it is all posssible that TIM has already sold them out on the crucible. The Reaper's will know thier going for the endgame once they begin the attack. They will use this as the opening of thier main counter offensive on Reaper occupied worlds.

Hackett however says him and the 5th fleet will assist Shepard in taking down Cerberus.


EDI will make her spill about going with you... but here you have the option to say no and take whoever you want -apparently EDi being mandatory bothered people so there ya go-

For the most part the attack goes the same -start in the hangar work your way in-

except that Operatives you didn't kill will show up along with several new ones. Every encounter basically has these minibosses in them. The Battle in the Hangar expect to run into a sniper operative.

The video's aviable are different depending on whether  you have Miranda and Kai along -EDI gets her convos via radio-

Miranda's data recording focus on her meeting TIM and Working for him, The last one is her argueing with Lacriox about Shepard.

Kai's data recordings has him shortly after TIM breaks him out-Him, Gideon and Tim Discussing Kai's future in the organization-, His first set of implants, A conversation between him and Grayson, and basically a sensiable summary of what happened in deception without all the stupid -Kai went to kill Aria so cerberus could take omega, He got an old biotic girlfriend to help him. Kahlee and Anderson jumped them, they fought those two off only to get jumped by Two biotics -Hendel and Gillian-

Gillian killed Kai's ex while Kai was able to kill Hendel, Gillian nearly killed Kai -Felt like a few Grizzlies got dropped on me- but He was able to wound her and send her over a ledge but had to retreat due to Aria and her goons heading toward the fight,though they never found the girls body. Kai shrugs it off as the reason he got artificial biotics -Never want to get my ass kicked by a 15 year old girl again-

Renegade Shepard: Sloppy Leng, I'd figure you would have made sure she was dead?
Kai: What was I suppsoe to do, I lost my pistol and knife to one of the most powerful bitoics alive, all i had was a toothbrush.
Renegade Shepard: You should have taken the toothbrush and stabbed it into her throat!
Kai: I'd have to have sharpened the tip first. What type of pyscho walks around with a sharpened toothbrush on em.
Shepard: <.<

..
Miranda: For once Leng, you're the normal one in the conversation.
Leng: It doesn't feel like much of a victory.

This is the final Cerberus mission so expect EVERYTHING Cerberus has thrown at you, The Reaper Room is the most ungodly part with Operatives and high tier units attacking you in close quarters.

Reaching the control room -Make sure to check the final data lounges to see TIM's background and more of his breakdown to the indoctrination, and the fallout from the coup-

Inside the main observation deck... is Renault sitting in TIM's chair, Renault welcomes you warmly but You and the Squad just try gunnnig him down... The shots never even get close as they disenigrate hitting a powerful Biotic field- "Jack warned me you weren't very civil"

You and Renault exchange Banter, revealing that TIM isn't on the station, that his gone to secure humanity's ascension. You make it clear you want the prothean Ai, which Renault calmly refuses since he won't let you stop the ascenion. You make the claim that his just as indoctrinated as TIM, but the shocker is Renault mind is unique It naturally blocks out indoctrination signals, His been doing all of this of his own free will.

TIM shows up for your final conversation where you vainly try to change his mind. Renault and TIM exchange goodbyes, as TIM knows even if Renault kills you, Hackett will kill any Cerberus troop there. Renault accepts his demise with a smile hoping for a truly glorious end.

Lacriox and Dist show up, Miranda and Lacriox will exchange words while Kai will square off with Dist


It's a three on three fight

Lacriox is the weakest being basically a miranda that duel wield SMGs

Dist is like he was last fight.

Renault is the main threat of the battle having armor you have to shoot off-which he can replace-, regenerating barriers, and wicked variation on every biotic power in the games -Annihilation field is the one that will get you most of the time.  Renault will use the enviroment to create make shift cover for the other two and projectiles!

If Kai is still with Cerberus, he repalces Dist, and is even more aggressive then ever... He gets even more agressvie when Harby assumes control when you reduce his health to 1/4


Lots of banter for this fight, Renault making theatric analogies about curtains, players and endings, Lacriox talknig about TIM's vision, ReaperAvatar Kai gloating about settling the score, Harby Hamming it up and Dist being his creepy quiet self. -and Kai and Miranda bantering right back-

Lacriox is generally the first to fall, Her death scene has her either limping out of the room only to collaspe on the ramp outside or to get killed by Miranda with slam combo and a gunshot to the had.

Dist's has his mask fall of revealing his huskification or Kai kills him with a knife to the skull and a few rounds from a pistol.

Renault is the last to go down and attempts to kill everybody by shatternig the room with a massive biotic blast however a trick shot of his make shift cover, hits him in the neck, his last words, A glorious end.

Kai who will be uncontrolled by harby after his beaten will get up and attempt the backstab-it ends the same way as it always does-

with everybody on cronus station pretty much dead.. you finally get the Prothean VI back.

The prothean VI will of course reveal the next major battle of the War... The Citadel since thats what the reapers are gearing up for -No offscreen for you!-

after this the Cerberus plot is pretty much over, other then the last few scenes with Miranda and Kai -You agree to kill each other later-
and TIM's final confrontation.
