I just started to play Dragon Age II and I experience an audio problem similar to the one described elswhere in this forum. During dialogues the sound of the dialogue is tearing (so to speak). It mutes for a short time but continues a bit later. It's completely random when this propblem occurs. I have no problem with the graphics. Only the sound has this problem and it's very annoying.
I have checked the forums and it is recommended to check the force stereo box in the settings. However this box is checked since the beginning for me and I still experice this problem. I only have the base Dragon Age II game and The Black Emporium. I have no other DLCs. Furthermore I installed the 1.4 patch and the high resolution texture pack.
I have the latest NVIDIA and sound card drivers.
Can someone help me with this problem?

Hmm... I had this problem... but after the 1.03 patch... it kinda stopped. (and it only ever affected banter)
I think it had something to do with the 1.02 patch because it only happened after that.
As to what you can do...... I'm not sure. I no longer have this problem (I think... I haven't played DA2 in FOREVER) Try redownloading the 1.04 patch and running it again. (if you have all the patches, just run them in order... Since I don't think I have this problem anymore, it might be something patched in the 1.03 that was left out of the 1.04 patch... They're supposed to have all the previous patches in the latest, but you never know.)

I just noticed that I also have the graphics problem on very high graphics quality also mentioned on this forum. On very high setting the frame rate is really bad and there are black triangles on the ground. As I have mentioned on high setting everything is completely fine.
I installed 1.02 and 1.04 patches because I couldn't find the 1.03 anywhere. I will try to reinstall but I doubt that's the problem... I have the GamersGate version. The 1.04 is not on GamersGate I downloaded that patch from here. Can that be the problem?
