A reaper origin story and a potential reaper asset sound cool to me. So yes I will be getting it. Whether if affects the ending or not is not my personal concern.

I lolled.

Personally I loved Mass Effect 2's DLC and look forward to the DLC in ME3. I think amazing DLC really has to potential to flesh out ME3. Even if the ending still leaves a sour taste in peoples mouths 10 minutes of gameplay is really letting everyone forget how great Mass Effect 3 was. Most people said that they loved Mass Effect 3 up until the last half hour, so with that in mind wouldnt more content prior to that point be something people would enjoy?

Im annoyed at how the end rolled out, and was not particularly happy with the EC either but Im not going to let that part get in the way of the parts of the game I really enjoyed - which was the majority of it. Because this is the last game of the Shepard story arc and with no real plans for a 4th game Bioware are going to milk all the DLC for everything its worth. This is GOOD for players because frankly Bioware do awesome SP DLC.

The barebones game only had one hub, and didnt really feel all that long so they have left room so so much more to be added to it. I think by the time all of the DLC has rolled out there will be hours and hours and hours of cool story building content and plot holes can be filled with that as well bit by bit.

As I said Bioware make great SP DLC, so enjoy it. Not playing it simply because your crabby about the end means nobody loses out but you. Bioware arent that upset about losing your $10, but you will be upset about missing out on all the fun ****. Dont let half an hour hold more weight in your minds than hours of great gameplay and add ons :)

I'm going to wait for initial reactions

If it's like Shadow Broker, I'll get it

if it's like Overlord, I'll pass

If it's like Arrival then not only I will pass on it, I will also avoid all following SP DLCs and maintain a very skeptical view on future non MassEffect DLCs

Going to wait. I won't forget the crappy red/green/blue endings they gave us and the arm twisting it took just to get them to fix it. They have to earn my trust again.

Yes, probably.

I sort of got the ending I wanted so more of the game is not a bad thing. I just hope that the DLC is Tuchanka and Rannoch quality.

If we get a bunch of DLC like that, the game might improve a great deal in my eyes.

An agreeable statement, more or less. I still hope that we'll be able to get some sort of victory that feels like a victory. Maybe Leviathan will influence that. Maybe other DLCs will. I can hope.

Destroy makes you sacrifice friends (go you if you hated the Geth and EDI, I suppose, this has little consequence).
Control means you rule the galaxy with an iron fist and may not be so benevolent.
Synthesis turns everyone into Reapers.
Defiance results in you losing for arbitrary reasons, regardless of EMS, which is a huge slap in the face. EMS means almost nothing because of this.

And because of all that, I honestly feel like I lost in every situation.  So, like I said, hopefully the DLCs will add little by little to the endings. That'd actually be really remarkable, and puts my cash in BioWare's wallet.

If you liked ME3, then yes.

If you didn't, then no.

It sounds pretty interesting so far.

Originally, I was going to see the BSN reactions before buying, but I think I'd rather experience the story for myself so I think I'll be grabbing it on day one.

I've made semi-peace with the EC ending (Destroy) so I think the upcoming DLCs could actually made ME3 a much stronger game. I know we're likely getting Omega next.

And, of course, I'm still hoping some DLC down the line brings back Jack and Miranda.

Is the best Shepard can look forward to still going to be buried in rubble on a trashed Citadel?

Yes?

No. Not really. It doesn't change much, just filler content. Finding a device to destory the reapers, that you end up not using/doesn't work? I already know the end to the story. It's like watching an extra scene to a movie where everyone's hopeful, but you know they're going to die.

I'm not pleased with the ending. I don't want some random DLC, maybe character DLC for people who didn't have much screen time like Miranda (please BioWare, PLEASE), but not some extra areas.

You forge an alliance with a damned reaper killer that has an indoctrinated army and who invades your mind. You also learn more about Harbinger...

And you go underwater in a mech suit...

Context is one hell of a game changer. Leviathan giving me some more exposition on the Reapers will be interesting, not doubt.

Plus it's 3 hours of new gameplay.

I will have to wait to see how it changes things, besides I have no memory left in my xbox with all the dlc I currently have. Normally, I would say yes mass effect DLC, yes yes yes! But after the EC I just can't, and yes I actually liked the original endings because it doesn't show EDI and geth dying.

I'll buy it, because ME3 needs some meat on it's bones. Damn, ME3, you so skinny child.

I'll buy it, and all subsequent DLC, because I've been a die-hard fan of Bioware since I played Baldur's Gate way back when.

I'll buy it because I want to support these guys, one last time. To fill out my ME3 experience and let my wallet say thank you for all those years of perfect story-telling.

But make no mistake; I am done with Bioware after this. Didn't buy DA2 and I won't buy DA3.
ME3 shows me what sort of company they have become, and while the mass consumer market loves the broad appeal, that stuff just isn't for me anymore.

So I will wrap up ME3, buy all the extra filling, and then me and Bioware will part ways.
Time for me to find a new love,

this.

but im hardly even interested in more ME3. im not so sure i havent already parted ways with ME3. im certainly on this forum far more then i am on the game.

Like I said before - I will never again buy a game from you BiowarEA. Rot in peace.

that's my stance. until I start seeing some improvement in the ending (EC was a step in the right direction, but still a mile off), my cash and attention are going somewhere else. If bioware has anything to do with anything I'm staying far away after what they did to this series. what's that? why am I still here? idk either, I'm that disappoint about it I guess.

I realize it's a bit early to be discussing this. I'm only asking if the price they are asking for the DLC will match the content it will provide. When you pay $10 for new DLC, you at least want it to add to the storyline and/or provide you with enough content to last a few hours

Since it's not out yet, we don't know exactly what content it will provide. But at an estimated 2-4 hours of gameplay, 10 bucks sounds about right.  I am expecting something similar to LotSB rather than something like Overlord.

Either way, I am sure you'll have your answer once people actually play (I'll be getting it myself, but I'll probably avoid the forum for a few days after its release).

Your still here because this is the place where you can complain about ME 3, and have a lot of other people complain with you.
