Than you should leave now, because your setting yourself up for betrayl otherwise.
Yeah, but I'm an optimist. A cynical optimist, forever hoping that I will be surprised with a better universe than what I've got, but not expecting it.

Don't get me wrong, the EC was a vast improvement, but that isn't saying much and I'm not even close to trusting them as a vendor again.

I'll buy it because I like Mass Effect and do in fact want more.

Short answer: no.
Long answer:
I already got the M-55 Argus from the pre-order. I also have the N7 armor pack and the Chakram launcher (not a bad weapon for the Sentinel and Soldier classes). Why would I want to re-get the Argus? Why would I want to learn more about the Reapers, when there are so many other areas that need DLC help?
If the Leviathan changes the ending to the extent that Shepard lives/w reunion, then that would change everything.
Otherwise: no.

And think about it. Plot of ME3 is a race against time to save Earth. Now you are wasting more time before getting back to Earth and it won't make a bit of difference. So no, it's not worth it nor is it even good storytelling adding middle of the game DLC.

It will be like Arrival. A couple of hours of gameplay. Doesn't effect ANYTHING.buzzjman wrote...
With news that new ME3 DLC is coming our way this summer (Leviathan DLC) the question to ask is, is it even worth getting? BioWare has done very well in the past for adding single player storylines to already released games but each of those DLC added something to the game. Not only was it worth the cost to buy and download but the content itself was good for a few hours of gameplay. Here's just a couple examples:
Mass Effect 2:
Liar of The Shadow Broker- Price: $10 (800 Microsoft Points) Gameplay Value: Huge Value. It provided a mission that resulted in a few additional hours of gameplay AND added to the rest of the game. You could purchase upgrades, find planets where certain elements were high in and learn more about every character in the game.
Overload- Price: $5.99 (560 Microsoft Points) Gameplay Value: For me Overload didn't do a ton for me but it still provided a bit of time to play. It's price, seemed a little high, but it was kinda worth it.
For Mass Effect 3 we get the new Leviathan DLC soon. It will cost $10 regardless of what platform you get it for. BioWare has said it will help your end of the game but won't change anything in the end. It sounds like it should provide a few hours of gameplay, although it could be less time or more time. The question is, is it worth $10? Will it be like Shadow Broker DLC which added value to the entire game and gave us a few hours of gameplay? Or will it be a quicker mission that gives us war assets but doesn't truly effect much? Do you think $10 is a fair price for single player DLC for ME3 or do you think it's price is a little high?

^This.
This franchise is dead to me at least with the current endings. My Shepard became unrecognizable due to "artistic integrity." That he died at the end was secondary to me. (ME3 ending was the worst ending from a narrative standpoint I'd ever experienced in any medium.)
The Extended Cut was aptly named: it just extended the same, changing nothing substantive with the narrative. Opportunity lost. How anyone who no longer recognized their Shepard at the end could think otherwise because of the EC is astonishing to me.
Credit is due to Bioware for delivering the EC for free, but their story-arc leads need replacement for their future narrative-based RPGs.

But, I do really like the "WHY DO YOU PURSUE ME? *BREAKS GLASS*" scene so much that I'm considering getting it.
