Nice, I accidentally forget to set it to bronze when I joined a game with my level 1 shadow, but they let me stay.  I act paranoid as heck in the game, managing to keep third score (even though the others all 20s) and here we are on wave 10, "Hack comeplete, we got what we need" and boom, server down.

Think they can give us an in game warning when server down time is due?

As least a minute warning so we can all find a way to suicide and keep our xp and money.

I haven't tried to play ME3 yet but I read in this topic they were strying to fix this ASAP. Did they already succeed?

yes it has. but it randomly decides to come up and to top it off u gotta be quick on hitting b

This is unscheduled downtime - servers are having troubles. There is no way they could warn us about this.

Yes, it's always been around. Well, at least for several months.

They've never given me that option before, ever. I've just been dropped into the game, no questions asked. Huh...

At least now I know it exists. If it feels like it.

servers were down and now we are losing connections. looks like servers are still not functioning well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is it unscheduled or a crash? Did they go down themselves or did someone push a button basically? This is the time of the morning when they do mainanance so I assumed they pushed a button somewhere.

It IS scheduled maintenance, and Chris Priestly had a thread about it yesterday. I have no idea why they didn't sticky it on the first page, as they appear to have made extra room there anyways.

Bioware had a topic on scheduled downtime for 3 or 4 days ago and the scheduled downtime didn't happen, because I played right through it. As you can see, Priestly didn't have a thread about it yesterday. DJCubed might have seen the sticky that was there 3 or 4 days ago and misunderstood it for being for tonight.
