As the title says.
If I check on my Origin profile it says I've 50something friends, but the friends button says I have none and if I click the button it starts loading and keeps loading for ages....
I feel soooooo alone.

What...the...hell....
Why don't you test your updates before releasing them?!?

same problem here...after the update, origin tried to connect to my friends list, without success. Eventually, after a while, it asks me if i want to make new friends, despite the fact i have 42 people on my list...

After some loading it tells me to add some friends to the list. Seemingly not knowing about the 51 people on my profile page. Well done EA... well done...

Seems like if you lauch ME3 and use shift+F1 in the main menu, your friends will be at their place.
Then close the game and you'll be able to see them in Origin as well.

@Herron7: that made me laugh hard!

same here friends list not loading, maintence happens so no big deal, but not being able to play with your friends despite the game being of a COOPERATIVE nature is pretty ridiculous.

Doesn't work for me, but you can still chat with ppl at Skype for example, and then set up certain map, enemy, and difficulty. At least thats how I managed to play with some of my friends.

Friend list not loading, logs me in as online, switches from invisible to ingame when playing, always synching cloud storage when starting OR exiting the game, separate FL window completely redundant, can't immediately click to start up game, game thumbnail size also totally irrelevant...
But hey, at least you can tell the time when you open Origin ingame now. Props!

Same here. Friends list completely empty, even the Leaderboards page shows no friends now

I got the same problem few days back when Origin auto-updated to version 9.0. It messed up my friends list so I un-installed it and installed the old Origin 8.6 version. But it seems that the old version has been removed from the Origin website now and even making a fresh installation installs the new Origin 9.0

please do because pubbing has lead to a extreme decrease in units of consumables....

Yeah. Live-chat didnt help one bit. After the lengthy first attempt at fixing it, the issue wasn't resolved

you: No, this was the only issue i had at the moment. So they are working on a fix for this yes? Any ETA on when it'll be fixed. Just checked BSN forums and quite a lot of folks are facing this exact same problem.

So now Origin doesn't just hate the two of us, it hates EVERYONE. Anyway I've been trying to log in to origin for half an hour now, nothing works. As I said yesterday, you'll hate the new origin
