I hate the fact that this was forced upon us. Kept getting the option to update to Origin 9.0c Beta of "Beta" ( go figure. LOL! ) but did some research online as i was wary of EA products (and rightfully so) and found a few forum topics complaining about these bugs so i stayed off it. And now, EA comes here and forces this down our throats. God. . . damnit!

I'm trying a live chat with support and either the guy is getting his coffee and donuts or is taking a dump. It's taking him over 5 minutes to find an answer to something.

Yep, tried that. And it clearly shows that they're still friends with me, as in i get the 'Chat' option in the place of the 'Add as friend' option but Friends list still shows ZERO friends.

Yes, it appears we're no longer special. Anyway, I gave up trying for now, now it tells me I'm not even connected and can't access friend list in offline mode.

Same here, but in the afternoon seems allright now in the night cannot see my friends list either and go to offline Mode

Don't worry, I've jsut spoken to Mr.Priestly, it's just a prequel to the next Mass Effect operation:

Operation Suicide.



Squad Goal: Win over 9000 Platinum matches with randoms.
Allied Goal: Find 10 milion friends joining random matches on any difficulty.

Been having the same issue for some time now, only it's not the whole list that has gone but one or more friends, in fact at first I thought they just unfriended me, but the next day they would reappear. And then someone else would disappear.

My problem is bigger, with last update i even cannot login into origin so i downgraded it to previous version and now i can login but chat option is disabled, when i click on reconnect it says "The origin chat service could not be reached".

HOWEVER.. Try this to play with your friends... ! 

If you have any way in getting in touch with any of your friends, weather it's here, TeamSpeak and so on, create a new game, set it to WORST possible game, fx. Goddess, Reaper, Platinum, and set it to private.. Then tell your friends to be ready, and tell them what to search for in a public game.. When they're ready, set it to public and then give them a GO.. If youre having trouble cordinating having them all to connect at the same time.. Feel free to use the chat on ourhttp://teambansheebait.wix.com/teambansheebait]HOMEPAGE[/URL] Under LiveStream... Just click the pen, write your name and then chat.. No login needed... Then you're all writing eachother on the same time.. 

It works for us.. If someone joins, that is not intended, ask them politely to leave, they will understand..

I CANNOT tell you the stress this is causing me... And I'm too scared to say exactly what I really think of EA at the moment in case they block me. Then I'm really screwed. Just solve the frikking problem in the next few hours please...

 The EA forums state that there are problems with the friend servers, which have not been resolved.
