still no friends showing on origin for me, how can i play this weekends operation, if i cant even see my friends to join their games, i wont risk searching random games because of all the hacked games, i dont want to risk it

Someone over in a sister thread suggested a possible temporary fix for this, i'm still testing it out but to no avail, but this might work for some of you.

Follow this....

First delete C:/ProgramData/OriginLogs/Client_log.xml first.

Then re-launch Origin and login wait for a while.

For those who can't find ProgramData, it's a hidden folder so enable
the visibility option of hidden folders by going to Organize->Folder
and Search Options->Click on 'View' Tab and selec 'View hidden files
and folders'

The directions stated are for Windows 7 OSes.

Ah, to hell with this, just got off the phone with an advisor and he told me "This is a know issue with many users at the moment. The senior engineers and developers are working on this issue right now and it will be resolved at the earliest. We're sorry for any inconvenience caused"

Due to a small budget I had to keep the button but I hooked it up to something that will scare the pie filling out of them.

I'm also having problems still. Do they know that operation starts soon?

I don't know what surprises me more, that an update to Origin seemingly resulted in bugs like this or that a problem that went away came back.

But anyway, it is an Origin/EA problem, not ME3/Bioware, so in this case, we should be talking about this with EA, not Bioware.

They should repay us with some free points for DLCs or something. This is EA's worst hiccup ever, it's just been going on too long already.

LOL'ed at that bit. You're right, this isn't exactly the place to be talking about this, buuut a lof of folks on here want to play ME3 MP and since their friends list is bugged to hell and back, they're just trying to find possible temporary fixes, but sadly we haven't had a proper one yet.

Tried uninstall and reinstall of Origin and turned off the option to install beta releases, still no joy. This needs fixing within the next couple of hours for Olympus... hitting EA support!

This has been an issue for over two days now. That no fix, a legitimate not a "go through all this BS type laundry list" PoS "fix", is beyond me. What's the deal? Origin is the spawn of Satan.

It probably won't help since Origin will want to upgrade automatically when you launch it...
