One of the bigger let downs in the game, in my opinion, is the fact that the multiplayer promoted soldiers added to your end game Galaxy at War assets has no impact on the game whatsoever. This could be fixed with a Singleplayer DLC, one with a new level, another earth level perhaps, where you and the accumulated forces from multiplayer have to achieve a vital goal.
Personally I think a defensive mission would best, holding off a massive seemingly endless hoard of reaper forces. An army of husks and other mutated creatures, Banshee's and Brutes, and a few Reapers for good measure.
But the main point is having your multiplayer forces having some use in the game. So if you have only two teams promoted, thats all you can use, if you have a hundred thats how many have got your back and are fighting with you side by side. That maybe too much for a computer to handle, so then have waves of reinforcments from your troops to replace the dead maybe.
But ultimately, an epic war using your hard earn troops in a difficult mission, whether its made a core mission is debatable, but make it a tough challenge, worthy of the many troops who you promoted. If the outcome had some impact on the outcome, even better. Doing this would make multiplayer feel like your actually working towards a goal, giving it more significance and enjoyment, but thats just my opinion.
A Singlepleyer DLC that would use Multiplayer promoted soldiers?

I wanted promoted characters to join the squad (one at a time). They wouldn't talk or anything but a lot of players have no sentinel in ME3 so it would be a way to fill in the gaps. It could help people who lost characters on the SM as well.

I enjoy SP and MP fairly equally, but the SP only crowd (who is quite vocal, and has some valid points) would cry foul because of the existence of SP content not available without playing MP. And don't bother with the "it's a dlc, they don't have to buy or play it" argument, the majority don't believe that (anyone posting on this forum has to be a hardcore fan, who probably believe, maybe rightly, that he has to own and play every single DLC regardless of the content. Yes, that includes a hypothatical DLC featuring "guitar hero" gameplay where you get an alternate ending to the game by defeating the reapers with the power of Rock'n'Roll) and the commuinty is strongly against "niche DLC" (Unless that niche is "people who want the mako back"). I know I've complained about the constant stream of MP DLC packs vs the months without any SP DLC.

Yeah, I want some kind of interaction with my promoted MP characters. Even if it's as small as seeing them standing around on London. I want SOMETHING!

One should note that you don't promote a specific charecter, but the entire class. So who would you meet, your trusty battlemaster or the Drell weakling which you played once and hated?

I don't believe they even have the data stored to do this. It would have been nice, but realistically it can't happen.

Something that brought the mp characters into the campaign setting would be awesome. If you had some kind of addition to the campaign that you could do as sp with ai controlled squad mates or in co op with friends controlling the squad mates I think that would be pretty cool and fun.

I think the biggest issue I have with it is that I don't really understand why you'd want a SP DLC that requires you to play MP. There's already a feeling that SP DLC has taken a back seat to MP DLC so I can only imagine the firestorms that would result if it turned out that an SP DLC came with a MP-required tag.
As for the idea behind it (using your promoted characters)... it doesn't sound bad as such but again, not really sure if many people would be that bothered about using their already promoted characters in more MP-esque action.
Realistically, I think there are better options as to where to take DLC then this.

Admittedly I don't do MP, but I don't see the rationale for importing MP characters into SP. Since the MP element of the game is purely action orientated, whilst the SP is far more story/narrative driven, it would be rather pointless. That SP and MP play differently with different powers and weapons, some of which behave differently would make it hard to balance anyway.
TBH I want both more SP DLC, and SP DLC that either advances the story post-ending, or fills out the narrative (as Leviathan is meant to do). By far the parts of the ME games that have taken most of my time is the story and character interaction, not the brief episodes of combat that punctuate the game.
