 I still love the guy. Very squishy but I love his versatility. I only have a Hurricane I but it is my weapon of choice for him, take the recoil and AP mod, works very well. I don't see too many Gethgineers these days, but tons of GIs, so just was curious.

I'd love to play him, but as my computer is a weaker one, once I turn Hunter Mode on, somehow I lose a good chunk of FPS... So he's a bit out of the question so far

I played it like 10 minutes ago. I compensate squishiness with a healing turret, CC with chain overload and do damage through weapons w/hunter mode, but I still haven't settled on which I like.
Mostly in silver though, if I use him in gold I'd take disruptor ammo to burst.

Played it last night, great support character. I don't spec HM on it, turret to heal, CC w/ chain overload, GPS, max fitness.

he is one of my main go to classes, I drag him into gold with a geth shotty x and love every minute of it.

Painted him like a regular Geth Trooper, albeit with black lights. Although that just makes the Geth light the standard Geth light color...

Yep, although I rarely see him except when I use him.

Best turret in the game... Kills well and great distraction on phantoms, etc. Nice weapon buffs with hunter mode and overload is one of the top powers in the game IMO.

I sometimes roll with the gethgineer on Gold. Specced him as a medic; turret for max heal, so no flamethrower. I don't have hunter mode on most of the time.

For offense, I just rely on a Carnifex X so that I can spam more overloads (get it? overlords overlo..nvm).

I use my GE a lot. My highest ranked UR so far is my Saber IX and this is the only class it seems to fit my play style on.

This is the my go-to class for random matches that contain one or more underpowered characters since the turret can be used as a disaster management tool.

I used to play it often on silver, when I went to gold it was far less effective (still viable). The real thing that made me stop playing it was the horrible screen overlay. On the GI I can deal with it because of the advantages but not so with the GE.

Basically I think the overlay needs to be removed, it's far too glitchy and obstructive as it is.

I dust him off every now and then (I spray Revenant DPS from far away while launching healing turrets at teammates), but I'm more focused on my Paladin and Krogan Soldier. :|

Yes. Choice weapon is GPS. My Saber at IX would probably be a good idea too.

Yeah. Some good ones have camped with me in the room on Glacier/Cerberus/Platinum. Helpful, less team deaths, good at pointing out where enemies are and where they're coming from, not so reliant on cooldown times that good weapons can't be used... I like the geth engineer.

If you go full fitness and no training he is a full on tank. You get around 1k shields in hunter mode, wallhack, great mobility, and shield turret. Only the Kroguard is a better survivor. Piranha with hunter mode means you don't need whatever bonuses training gives you and your cooldowns will still be good. It's the only character I would do no training on, but it's well worth it.

I would put GE in the tier below the top tier when specced this way. I use Piranha X and Scorpion X with ULM.

I love the guy, though I haven't played him in a while. Time to fix that mistake, I guess!

I'm gonna take him to gold this weekend, and see what happens. I guess I'll take the Mattock/Tempest, though I wish the Geth Pulse Rifle was a bit stronger so I could take it there (for aesthetic purposes)

Yeah, I still play him although rarely right now since I don't have any good gear for him at the moment.

GPS and chain overload spam with a nice healing turrent for group support does a lot of good in a good team and HM specced for vision gives me great awareness.

Although, the HM specced for vision has kinda lost some its appeal since Male Quarians came around...

Yep, I love him. He's one of my massive damage dealers with the Indra/Piranha combo.

I use it with a valiant and huricane but it's not really working on gold, max silver to do good for me.
Been trying some weapons but i kinda dislike shotguns.

It's a blast for easy bronze matches turret is fun
