My husband and I used a sneaky trick to find each other last night... he created a lobby with really specific settings (firebase goddess, geth, silver, etc.) and made it public, then I searched for that specific type of lobby immediately.  We only tried it once, but it popped me right into his lobby, and then we changed the settings to U/U ...  requires some coordination, but it might work in a pinch...  

Hopefully they'll get it fixed before Operation Olympus

Yet another reason why Origin is not Steam.......

Last night, my Origin Friends List was spinning its wheels for at least 30 minutes (timed by being able to join a Gold PUG, play and successful extract), and afterwhich it was still trying to load. Took yet another (4th attempt at this point) exit-ME3-kill-and-restart-Origin for the Friends List to finally load and get to play with friends in private matches.

Yesterday I had friends missing from my friends list and today the list doesn't load at all. So this is the promised "streamlined friends list" of the new update, eh?

don't worry. origin just creates a backup of all your hard drives. might take a while to upload gigabytes or even terrabytes of data.

My list was in the loading-loop too. I disabled my anti-vir and restartet origin then it worked again. Btw origin sucks most of the time.

Man, I hate that that "sync with cloud" option enabled itself with the version update, not to mention that when the new version starts for the first time after the update, the "sync your data with cloud" options don't give you the option for it to just NOT DO ANYTHING at that moment.  You had to choose to either sync or upload.  WTF?  Distinction fail?  Railroad much?

And you don't have the option to delete YOUR OWN DATA, that it railroaded you to either sync or upload as a backup copy, off of the cloud.
