Personally, I play Bronze until at least L10 and Silver until at least 17. Haven't had the balls (or the inclination) to try platinum yet. The credits sound nice, but the whole "maps full of all three boss enemies" just sounds like a drag.

i don't mind carrying a noob, OR EVEN TWO. i only farm platinum, and it only takes 2 damage dealers, done it before. but seriously, put on some goddamn gear, it's insulting to come in with nothing and insta-lock like you fricken belong. and don't give that bull**** that you're a casual player and just trying things out, it's disrespectful as hell. know your damn role, stop dying on the other side of the map soloing 2 banshees. you're a cannon fodder and revive machine, stick to your role.

Hell, the very first time I fired up Multiplayer (Beta) and searched for a lobby (N7 rating 1 with a Level 1 Infiltrator), it put me in a Gold lobby. Got kicked out of it in 2 seconds flat.

you got maxed falcon, claymore, GPS, arc pistol, krysae, and maybe even the striker.  you already have at least 3 platinum-viable kits i can think of right off the top of my head

ill play with anyone on silver but gold and above i have to know them. i dont trust people i dont know expesually on platinum to be constructive know how to play and how to follow instructions.

Im npt a low level player and Im offended by your post. Who are you or anyone to tell someone what level they're supposed to be on? If its so bad make some friends and host private matches...problem solved. All this elite bull**** from a multiplayer game that isn't even PvP blows my mind.

I never understood why Bioware thought it was a good idea to make the default difficulty setting Random. For that matter I've never understood why a random difficulty setting even exists in the first place.

I would have never kicked you out on gold as N7 1 you have to learn some how why not let it be on Gold!!

Seriously?  To each his own but I've seen a level 1 top the scoreboard and I've topped it with randoms with a level 4.  I can run a level 4 Turian Soldier with a Hurricane and AP ammo IV, SMG III, Cyclonic Modulator, and Stronghold Gear that is better than 90% of the people playing gold.

This realy isn't elitism. There are many players attempting platinum that have no business there. It doesn't really bother me until I get dropped in a ongoing match, which happen 3 times in a row last night. I figure, eh, let's see if I get lucky and it's a good team. Nope, there was a reason there were open spots in the matches....in rounds 1/2.

thats kinda harsh. they are at least attempting to kill things. noobs in gold just means more for me to kill. I don't mind it and usually get a few laughs out of their behavoir. Its just nto somehting i'd want to do with 3 of them.

If they have a leveled character, I normally wouldn't mind. What makes me dislike these players is that 80 percent of them quit out during the match after dying repeatedly. I don't mind players going for a challenge, but I hate people who quit halfway through.

Buddy, even the lower skilled players or beginners have paid $60 to own this game and all of its features. No one has the right to command anyone around. They paid for it and they can play any difficulty they want without restriction from you or anyone else. It might be wise for you to strictly play with your friends in private matches as you wont have that problem any longer.

Its called, "venting" ofcourse the OP knows that the low level players he's complaining about are not on the forums, but he's frustrated and needs someone to complain to, and since bartenders start to give you really funny looks when you complain about video games, you come to the forums instead.

I promote every once in a while and I like to roll silver with a lvl 1 char. I have enought weaponry and mods that can make that viable without problems.

If the lobby lat me stay, we actually have a really good time, I cover, revive and do objectives, you kill stuff... What's wrong with it?
