I was playing the game and found it odd that I was unable to get anyone to join a match so I restarted ME3 and Origin.  Origin did and update and this is now the message I get when trying to run Origin.

Error message: Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to acces the item.

I talked with chat tech support and they say this is a known issue.  Anyone else having this issue?

Well, I had some other issues, but EA support assured me that they are working on a fix. How long and when we get it, is the only question. Try uninstalling and re-installing the older version of the Origin, but make sure that you disable auto-updating first with Administration rights.

Yeah, i got too one problem with Mass Effect 3 when i update that origin. Now everytime when i want to play ME3 its start and then Crash to Desktop and Masseffect3.exe not responding.. damn i hate those patch what fix another problem but cause another.

are there any fix for this problem or should i wait that EA fix this?

First thing I tried before contacting support.  I also disabled auto updating but it updates when starting anyways regardless of unchecking that checkbox. I do tech support for a small company and have now tried everything I know to fix it but seems I will have to wait for a new version of Origin I guess.

Seems that it finally loaded and everything seems fine.  Very odd as all I did was let it sit!

Still getting "An Unexpected Error has occured" message when I try loading Origin or ME3 since the update. No solution online seems to work.
