You think it will help? Shepard could resist it and he doesn't necessarily have any special powers.

Even allowing dominate, the Force can counter it, much like a mind trick.

Personally, I feel *true* Star Wars fans would only consider ANH, ESB and RotJ as canon.  Everything else was just a money grab and to milk the franchise.

If Yoda and the Emperor weren't personally throwing starships around, then it didn't happen.

I read a lot of the novels in middle school. I just saw the prequel films for the first time two weeks ago. They were really, really bad. Empire Strikes Back is the only one from the series I'd consider "good."
I don't think I'm a true fan. :crying:

Actually to me the first force unleashed was cannon because it followed galen marek about how he created the rebel rebellion and how he died a hero to save the rebels and the counselor

Also liked the evil dlc on the take if you killed darth vader and went the darkside and became the emperors new apprentice and enslaving luke MUHAHA o-o

the only good thing that came from the prequel movies were Samuel L Jackson, Liam Neeson, and Darth Maul lol

Starkiller is my favorite sith lord other then darth bane ^^

Sith, lightning and choke. They could alternatively just cave the ceiling in.

Well if you go on force unleashed takes on the force powers I'd say that the jedi and sith would be way more powerful then the biotic users from me3 though I'd like to believe that shepard would have a fighting chance U_u

Power has nothing to do with it. Biotics cannot counter the Force. Sith win.

Honestly, you can't just say "Force>Biotics" because they have never been tested against eachother and probably never will.

Exar Kun pulled a solar flare from a star and torched the Republic Senate. I think the Force users take this one pretty easy.

But on an equal level. We're not talking Exar Kun vs. Liara because that's way to much in the Force-user's favor. Just regular biotics vs. regular Force-users.

Uhm yes I can. Remember how earlier I said vs arguments are flawed because each side operates in different universe with different rules. Well the reply to that was assume both universes are in effect. Fine. But then accept that the rules of the Force necessarily define it as something greater than mass effect fields.

The Force is an form of energy that permeates all living beings. It can only be countered by itself. Thus a being with no access to the Force has no defense against a Force attack.

The same could be said for biotics, at least that Force-users have no defense to biotics. The Force is that kind of energy only to the universe of SW no ME so biotics would be unaffected. The Force has weaknesses and can be destroyed unlike biotics. (Unless you kill all biotics but same could be said with Force-users)

Erm, since he's named and a pretty important character no. Same with like Samara and Shepard, can't use them.

The biotics could launch an all out attack, but could one of the force users not simply Flow Walk back in time and change the outcome?

Err... what?

Did you even see Star Wars? I was under the impression all involved in this discussion at least knew what they were talking about.

In any case, you must allow the rules of both universes (so long as they don't contradict) otherwise the discussion is meaningless. As far as I can tell, they don't contradict so both apply.

Now as to biotics, only some would not be counterable by the Force. Things like warp, reave, dark channel, things that apparently work at the subatomic level (although with practice a Sith Lord could learn to at least partially nullify these effects). More kinetic based ones like throw, pull and singularity could be resisted because they're kinetic based. Biotic explosions could probably not be countered. Though I doubt there'd be enough time to cast them.

Pretty sure George Lucas stated a while back that force powers don't work outside of the Star Wars Universe. Then again I heard this ooffhand like 8 years ago so...

For the sake of discussion you must allow the rules and context of both sides of a vs discussion to apply. If they can't or you won't, the discussion is meaningless.
