Sith sorcerers? What? She was exiled by both the Jedi and Sith. She spent the rest of her life (until meeting the Exile) researching echoes, the Force, and how to kill it. The other Jedi masters confirmed it though, at least the echoes and the effect they had. That's why the exiled the Exile and tried to cut her off from the Force years later.CrutchCricket wrote...
From what I read that this was certainly what she believed, but not necessarily true. Indeed the idea that the Force was detrimental was instilled in her by Sith sorcerers.JusticarFlareon wrote...
KotOR 2, Kreia found a way to ultimately destroy the Force using "echoes" in the Force. She was stopped but still, the way to kill it is still there. I don't really know a lot about SW (Games and movies)

Force Whirlwind, Force Push and Force Wave for all sects and alignments. And Kotor Campaign Guide gives a good information about Kreia and Kotor 2.

Before Nihilus and Sion betrayed her she found the Trayus academy. There she found ancient manuscripts by Sith sorcerers believed to be from the original Sith species. This was before Sion and Nihilus.JusticarFlareon wrote...

She believed that's what she was doing. But there's no evidence that such is actually the case.

No it couldn't. We've been over this. Stasis doesn't stop the mind and therefore couldn't stop one's command of the Force.JusticarFlareon wrote...

Seriously, if you don't know as much about the Force why are you still arguing this?

And you never gave me the proof I asked for that showed that Force users could kill people with their mind.

While it is true that she believed that it could be destroyed, there are still the facts that there are wounds in the Force. Wounds in the Force cause echoes that go on forever. The Exile was caught in the middle of a Force wound and was the only Force using survivor. The way she survived was by temporarily cutting off her connection to the Force. If a big enough one was made, the only way for people to survive would be either not be a Force user or give it up all together.CrutchCricket wrote...

Stasis is just a set up for another ability. Similar how warp and throw works together. Stasis is an excellent primer for Jedi.

I mean no disrespect but you admit, several times over that you do not know SW lore very well (which is fine) and yet continue to make erroneous claims, even when people who do know the lore tell you otherwise. What's the point of all this? Yay biotics? We already know what biotics can do. Putting down the Force? What will that accomplish, on the ME3 multiplayer board of all places?
This was an amusing little thread but maybe we should just let it go. Because it seems to have run its course.
And by the way, no proof for Force mind killing required. Think Force choke, but a lot faster, and without the gesturing. Telekinesis=self-explanatory.

Jedi and Sith can't stasis stuff. The limit of their power comes to jedi mind tricks and what's essentialy the equivalent of pull.
Sith + Biosplosion = Dead Sith

And if you look at other KOTOR 1 and 2 force powers, Jedi and Sith can do much more than simple mind tricks and telekinetic lifts.

I just wanted to see if there was more in favor of ME or SW (seems to be even) not a whole codex entries, lore including, quote looking up, mess. It's great that you are telling me about the lore that I have said that I don't know but please, post some proof. I won't believe "they just can". Kinda like the "pics or it didn't happen" thing on BSN.CrutchCricket wrote...

Not touching him=choking with his mind. Since the guy dies, Vader, just killed him. With his mind.
Other examples:
Extremely powerful Force users like Starkiller disintegrating enemies with kinetic Force attacks. If you play the game (Force Unleashed) you can see it happen. And before you say "no superpowered users", disintegration isn't required. Think in real life how easy it is to break a limb, or your neck. Doesn't require insane amounts of force.
Zannah, apprentice to Darth Bane, killed two unwary Jedi after they inadvertedly murdered her pet. An untrained child, she nonetheless reached out with the Force and broke their necks before they could protect themselves. Source: Darth Bane: Path of Destruction (written by Drew Karpyshyn) This was actually what I was thinking of when I first mentioned it.
Darth Bane himself before he became a Sith Lord killed his abusive father by envisioning a hand crushing his heart, resulting in (what appeared to be) the old man's heart attack. He was 18 and again, untrained in the dark side. Source: IBID
Examples really are endless. If you're interested see Telekinesis on Wookiepedia. Everything I've said you can check out there for yourself.

and the Jedi are JUST AS EVIL as the Sith....from my point of view.
Biotics would win (SINCE THIS IS THE OFFICIAL BW FORUM). Biotics dont have to ponder good vs. evil and the MYTH that separate the two ideas...so they dont have to worry about one extreme or the other.....as jedi seem too....cuz if you aint a jedi...YOU MUST BE DEALT WITH!
lets not forget kids that are born with the STD.....they get snatched up...TAKEN AWAY FROM THEIR parents....for the "GOOD OF THE GALAXY" ?????? indoctrination indeed!!!

No, the hand gestures are not necessary. Case in point, the next time you see Vader Force choking someone, he isn't even in the same room as them, he's just communicating via vidscreen and he's calmly sitting in his meditation chair.JusticarFlareon wrote...

Even more extreme example. In Outbound Flight a Jedi gone mad Force chokes Thrawn (nearly fatally) from a different ship altogether in the middle of a space battle. By the way, Thrawn is one of the most brilliant military strategists in SW, able to win in nearly any situation. But he can't touch the Force. And in this particular case it's made painfully clear that he thought of everything, except the Force (his species is outside the Republic and not Force-sensitive) and that nearly cost him his life.
The differences between the Force and biotics should be obvious.
