I think I'm never going to sleep again after reading this article.

The translation is a little odd, but you get the idea:

Live spiders certainly can not directly use the equipment taken out, it will instinctively "last-ditch", or drill deeper, the tentacles of the body, the barb may scratch the ear canal; it "destroy" and then remove what is more safety? After discussion, the doctor decided the patient's left ear instillation of saline, use of buoyancy in the water to force the spider out.

lmao, that's awesome! I wonder what it would feel like to have a spider living in your ear? I'd imagine that it would feel like throwing a bag full of crunchy potato chips at a chain link fence, but I don't remember where I'm going with this metaphor now... but I wonder if you could smuggle a spider through airport security that way? "Sorry sir, this airline does not allow exotic pets."

Woah, check it out, I found an english language version of this story, and it had a link to an article saying that having bugs crawl into your ears is actually a fairly common occurence! huff.to/NcPAts

There were even reports last week of a 12-year-old Colorado boy who woke up crying because a moth had crawled into his ear. He had to go to the hospital emergency room, where doctors tried to drown the moth to kill it, to no avail. They ended up removing the insect with tweezers -- where it came out alive, 9News reported. "

 Say, what?!

Oh, sweet Zombie Jesus! That's horrible!

I've heard of spiders crawling into your mouth while you're asleep (thank you Jim Davis)... but in your mouth?! I'd rather have a colonoscopy!

Aparently she was remodeling her house, then fell asleep. When she woke up, her ear was itching, but she didn't think anything of it until she went to the hospital five days later.

I been wearing ear plugs for ears now mostly because I'm a very light sleeper and it helps and I'm just used to it.  Now I feel like wearing them even while awake.

Oh and I'm never clicking on a link in this thread and I'm scrolling passed all pictures.
I hate you all!
