Also, the "hiss" after ejecting a clip is as good an indicator that you can reload cancel as watching your ammo counter. I prefer listening to it since it helps me keep my eye on the action.

It will help you in close quarters situations where single shot fire just isn't enough.
The Hurricane is also an amazing boss killer when combined with AP ammo and the new SMG pierce mod.

Hypnotize banshee with engineer combat drone. It will just stand there in front of it and you can lay waste to it.
Block stairwells and narrow corridors with shock drone. Banshees, Brutes and Ravagers will often pile up behind it doing nothing while you incinerate then to death. If a Banshee is advancing on you, cast a shock drone where you are and retreat. (Casting it AT her will make it appear BEHIND her and will be less likely to stop her advance.)
Cover your flank with shock drone. When you hear it zapping you know you have incoming enemies.
Ravagers will stop shooting if you are in melee range. Ravagers come in pairs. Remember to kill both.
Primes and Ravagers shoot in bursts of three. Wait for the pause before popping up to attack them
Don't run through dead Ravager goo. Don't forget the swarmers.
If you see a Phantom, it is your responsibility to kill it.
If you hear "Unit online" or that turret whirring, LOOK before running around corners.
If your team is lying in a heap of bodies, don't rush out to revive without first figuring out why they are dead.
Revive teammates through walls, around corners or from another safe spot.
Some methods for dealing with Guardians: Stasis+headshot, vanguard charge+shotgun blast to the face, combat drone cast behind them, Pull and shoot, scoped pistol with AP mod and shoot mailslot. If there is a sniper in your party, leave the guardians for them. Don't F-up their mailslot by uselessly emptying SMG clips into the shield or overload spamming.
Reload before capping the objective. Equip something that staggers before starting to cap the objective. If a cloaked infiltrator is capping the objective, don't stand over them drawing aggro -- move a short distance away to a defensible position where you can block access to the infiltrator.

Got a character with concussive shot? Pair up with someone who uses overload and spam overloaded enemies with concussive shot for tech burst.
Playing a human Engineer? Hit them with overload then follow up with incinerate..wicked tech burst.
Tech burst...
Tech burst everywhere...

For instance corner hugging, or making sure there is an obstruction between you and enemies while reviving a fallen teammate.
I've seen too many randoms trying to revive ASAP out in the open and go down, all while there is a perfectly good wall just a few feet away.

Multicapacitor and Stronghold gear allows a infiltrator to regen their shields even when tactical cloak is active.

Is that verified? I was not aware of this.

Since the GPSMG is virtually weightless with the weight reduction mod slap a piercing mod on it as well and keep it as a 2nd weapon if you don't want piercing on your prime weapon. this gives you a quick out if there are no other ways to deal with the guardians via biotics.

When charging it up you don't need to hold the fire button and wait for a full charge, holding it for even a second powers it to some degree over a quick tap. And it has a limited ability to curve around objects even when fired from the hip. An experienced user can take advantage of this to hit targets behind cover forcing them into view for an aimed blast.
Fired from the hip it also has the ability to hit and stagger multiple enemies at once, a lifesaver if you ran around a corner into a group you weren't expecting to be there.

Kill enemies only if you have to. Ravagers and Atlases are the expection, since they don't care about the decoy.
Good strategy to save missiles, medi-gel and potentially dangerous trips to ammo boxes.

Just 1 thing - TC gear is pointless as PR does not have spare ammo clips.

The key there is that you can;t unload a bunch of rounds/powers into her THEN drop the drone. DRop the drone, let it take the first shot, she'll get focsed and THEN you kill here. Works also with Brutes.

Ive noticed his behavior, so odd, always makes me think I'm about to lose connection to the game because they completely just stop and become entranced by it...

Cerberus' #1 weakness is Stasis/Energy Drain/Overload.
This thread deserves a sticky.
OP, you should include an enemy weakness section, one that includes the most effective strategy/power/class for each enemy type. For example, Krogan Vanguard:Banshee, Asari Adept:Phantom, Salarian Infiltrator:Atlas, and so on.
