hi, as the topic say's, i can't download either of these, when i press the download button it loads for a few moments before an error message pops up.

any ideas to solve this?
can't download earth or firefight DLC

the only thing i can think of but i am most like wrong is your virus protection. or fire wall
try to turn off your virus protection and see if that helps if not then also try your fire wall

I have the same problem and I'm telling you this now, there is no way around it.
I have spent the past day (almost two) looking across the whole dannati internet. There is no way around this problem. The best you can do is submit a ticket to EA and hope they actually get around to it.
Btw, what's your internet provider?

Did someone find a solution? Having this problem, too. Was really excited to pick the game back up for the new DLC but I went to update and Earth doesn't install. And I haven't found one single instance in the whole internet where someone solved this problem, so, ugh, I guess I won't play the new DLC the 23rd. It's not even the first time, I already had a problem with rebellion. Damnit, Origin, you're already horrible and inconvenient, at least try to work properly...
I'll submit a ticket but from what I'm seeing it's not gonna do me much good.

Alright, found a solution: the new beta works properly. You have to go the settings-general and choose two options like "use beta if available" and "keep origin updated automatically". Then restart and it will update and the downloads and everything else should work (did for me anyway). Writing here since as I was saying nobody on the internet was saying it.

I tried this workaround for the Leviathan DLC, but it didn't work. Still the same error. Previous DLC showed no issues whatsoever.
