It's not live action this time - That's a better direction. I hadn't seen the previous dragonball movie, but I heard it didn't go well. I shall predict at this particular time that the units sold once it heads to DVD will be somewhere over 9000. I'll give it a chance. Maybe.

i caught maybe 5 minutes of the live action film then turned it off

as far as this new one go's i believe itll be released in theatres

Doesn't matter if it was Dragon Ball or Dragon Ball Z, as long as it was done in the STYLE OF THE ANIME. Live action attempts at a DB/DBZ movie are horrid. And thank God it wasn't a DBGT movie. Ergh.

Actually, there have been several DBZ movies that are animated.

Of this fact, I am quite aware. XD

I just meant like a real movei that retells the continuity. Not like one of the spin off ones like Cooler or Broly.

So it's not just gonna be a movie that isn't live action, but animated, it's also gonna be a movie that actually adds to the overall continuity without the characters stating it to be the toughest fight yet only to forget that it ever happened in the actual canon *breates* like so many other feature films?... Cool!

Oh thank gawd. When you said after Kid Buu I was like "omg no, not GT". But there was all that time Goku was training Uub. This could be really good then

Wonder what the plot's gonna be about though. Hope its not just your average, "Enter villain. Turn Super Saiyan. Defeat."

Plus, it'd be nice if the usual occurance with Vegeta doesn't happen.

"Vegeta enters in badass fashion. Proceeds to get whooped in seconds."

Would be nice if Vegeta could kill the villain in a movie ONCE.

Technically he did in the Meta Cooler movie, but come on.

A thousand times this. Vegeta is easily my favorite DBZ character and he kinda gets tossed around for the sake of glorifying the others a bit. It would be cool if we got to see how Vegeta progressed after the Buu Saga ended though. He became a SS4 in GT but we never saw if he got to be a SS3 like Goku. Not sure I'd like to see that, but I find it hard to believe that Vegeta just stagnated after all that stuff with Buu. I mean he went nuts after The Namek Saga and pretty much maintained that same level of training from then on.

This is probably the best example. Play him up the whole movie and when he finally joins the fight he can't even last as long as Gohan or Trunks :\\
