But I can deal with all that and not have some kind of hate for her or anything like that. I just think of her as a really awkward friend in the game. It just feels that they went overboard sometimes with her creepyness. While legion had only his one moment that I can recall.
As I said, I think the unromanced version in LotSB was handled in a pretty bad way. However she's not alone in this. Tali's sudden I wish Shepard was here with me on Haestrom, and her downloaded files and suit applications like Understanding Body Language:Human Edition and Nerve-Stim-whatever was another thing that felt weird to me.

Honestly, I just want her plot armour removed and her placed at the same level as *everyone else*. I would also welcome the ability to customise our squadmates as we choose. But even that option was removed in ME3. I spent an entire game gathering the best of the best, gaining their loyalty, only to have them reduced to pathetic cameos? Really?

Yep. Even if you don't romance Tali, she's picturing Shep's face as she is.... stimulating her nerves.
