i think every character should have a chance to die speacially if they are a LI. would love to see a scene of pissed off shepard on a killing spree after a LI dies...of course i would keep my blue and purple LI's alive...

Seriously, I'd give anything to see Wrex as a squadmate. Unfortunately, that is a lost cause. I simply could not bear to sacrifice my lovely Liara; I must see my precious blue babies into fruition.

When I read that in one of the leaked scripts there was the option to get rid of her I thought that that would've been great.
Can't stand her damsel in distress attitude, her "I'm so sorry"s, the fact that she's forced to every player no matter how much your Shep interacts with her.
She's bland, she's been built to be likeable, she's a walking cliché, plus she's probably the worst Shadow Broker ever.

 I think Liara is a fine asset to Mass Effect 3. I'd rather choose to control the Reapers than kill Liara.

EDI can die in Destroy.

As for Vega...I guess they killed his character through crappy dialogue. I pretend he's not even there in my playthroughs.

The myth about unkillable characters persists because most people complete the game with maxed out EMS. In low EMS playthroughs every squadmate is a potential casualty.

I'd settle for a DLC that lets me reassign her to the Crucible and firmly out of mind for the rest of the game.

Actually, really, I'd settle for a DLC that allows you to refuse letting her jump your bones at the London FOB without making you seem like a bad person for it.

Liara was the one who rescued Shepard's body from the collectors.  This isn't common knowledge by now?
