people will always want DLC of characters they like. for better or worse they are more likely to get that Liara is the only squadmate guaranteed to be alive in ME3....well excluding James and EDI but i doubt someone would make a James centered DLC.General Slotts wrote...

Liara dies in ME2 (because I chose to side with SB)
Would that be the same Shadow Broker was was working with the Collectors to recover Shepard's corpse? Because siding with a de facto ally of the Reapers who also wants Shepard dead, just to kill Liara, totally makes sense.

Sorry Liara fans, but not all of us see her as an important character. If Liara never showed up ME3 for me, I wouldn't have missed her or felt I was missing out. I got through ME2 just fine without Liara.

All other characters get the chance to die. I'm not saying I'd kill off Liara, but it's only fair she can get screwed over too.
Liara can die in the beam rush.
lol
She can.

People like me who enjoyed Thane's death scene in the hospital, will still be happy. Those that romanced Thane and want to continue it, will also be happy.
Everyone wins, right?

Siding with the Shadow Broker is the problem, regardless of what else you wanted to tack onto that. He is a de facto ally of the Reapers who wants Shepard dead.
Allying with him would make zero sense, which is why Bioware didn't allow the player to do it. That is sort of like arguing that the player should have been able to side with Saren or indoctrinated TIM. Ok sure, so long as that is immediately followed by 'You lose, game over.'

On a side note, I think this would make a much better DLC:

Firstly, how does this have anything to do with this thread?
Secondly, of course... Zombie Thane would rule. Thane is just that awesome.
Thirdly, if this was meant as an insult, you are about five months too late in my case.

well. It wasn't my Original Intent to side with SB. I guess I could have re-edit that to make clearer (but didn't think I had to)
My intention was, side with SB just to gain his trust to have the "renegade option" to kill off liara. Then Shepard &...whoever is Shepard Squad mate could fight SB.
But, I perferred Hackett to be the SB replacement. I just think Hackett is a great character.

OP, I'd rather like a DLC where both of your squadmates are Liara, Shepard is replaced by Liara, Normandy is Piloted by another Liara and we discover the Liara VI on Thessia. There can never be enough of Liara.
Prehaps you like to leave a real opinion instead of trolling this thread. Thanks.

I think my post encapsulated my stand on this issue. There is no Mass Effect without Liara for me.

Seifer is a regular in the Thane thread. I thought I'd offer an olive branch by proposing a Thane romance DLC.
Lead ballon I take it?
Ah well...at least I found it amusing. And in the end, that is all that matters.

I guess I wasn't clear. I was confused as to why the Liara dislikers wanted more Liara? Seemed odd.

Edit:
I created a Poll: Vote
IMO, I would. I'm not a fan of Liara. But that's just me. I know there's many others who like her. But for me, I would like this DLC not simply just to kill off Liara, but a DLC where the Choice could be given. What would the DLC be? May the Community give some suggestions & ideas for future ME content.
yes, I would pay for this. I would like Liara to be replace with other great charactersMay your responses be with Reason & Maturity. Thread is not for yelling, name calling, four letter words etc......
- Wrex (Wreav)
- Miranda
- Jack
- Samara
- Thane
- Zaeed
- Grunt
Based solely on how she is in ME3? Absolutely!
But while keeping ME1 and ME2 in mind? Absolutely not!

I wouldn't mind a DLC that lets you kill off EDI's robotic body though and make her revert back to her ME2 incarnation.
