Yes, there is no excuse for the excessive plot armor she has given as how everyone else who returns can die at one point or another. I mostly ignored her in the first two games but never in my entire life of gaming do I want a character die as much as Liara, even characters I have hated in other games have never been as bad as her.

Less than just an option that says, 'Shoot Liara in the Face repeatedly with a Plasma Cannon', I think people are moreso saying they want to see a DLC where there is the potential for death of the character. This is really why I still think the Suicide Mission was ingenious. You HAD the choice of ANY of your members dying - but NONE of those choices would make your Shepard as sociopath. It was a mission where, from an OoC standpoint, you could put your shepard through great loss of his companions and maintain character, while OoCly allowing you the joy of managing your own crew and culling some of the numbers.
Would it be Sociopathic if during the Suicide mission, I decided that Tali, Garrus, and Mordin all should die? No, it is the building of my Shepard's story that I found fascinating, and while I personally would never do it, I positively LOVE bioware's choice in making that mission with such heavy consequences.

a better story is: Wrex joining us in the battles on Earth. Fighting all the reaper squads. Zaeed is on top, in the building throwing incedinary grenades with his trusted "Jesse"
Jack, Miranda & Samara fighting hordes of reaper troops along with the Turians. Samara pulls up a Biotic Bubble, while Miranda & Jack unleash the Force Explosions on cannibals & mauraders.
Grunt & Aralakh Company headbutting & bodyslammin RACHNI's
then Shepard & Wrex running towards the beam. They teleport to Casper the Ghost ............... and

yeah the whole liara always showing up...............is annoying. I didn't invite her up. I don't have her as LI. I rather have MY LI in my quarters.............

I find it amazing how many Liara extremists calling me out on how I made many liara hate threads.
I laugh at them. I made one other thread, showing how she's giving more emphasis then any other character of the series.
