Seriousy though, whats the point of proposing this kind of "content"? You
really think anyone in their right mind would do this kind of messed up
murderous rampaging crud for you just so you can have a sadistic rise
of shooting a char in the face just because of your unhealthy,
pre-pubescent "I dont like him/her" mentality?  Ha... keep scratching your ass's, folks.  It's like watching human devolution happen right before your eyes in these threads.

I don't want to insult anyone on this topic, but 20 pages and 100+ people willing to pay to kill a fictional character creeps me out.

To be fair, most of these people just want the rules that apply to everyone else to apply to Liara as well. Sure there are some nutbar's in here, and some of them don't like Liara.

I criticize Liara's handling in ME3 and think it's unfair that everyone else who returns from the previous games has the chance to be killed while she doesn't, but at this point, a DLC with the option to kill her off comes across as mean-spirited and giving in to the people who hate her.

I could maybe - MAYBE - accept it if there were an expansion of the Thessia mission (like adding another one or two) and the final fight was redone so that she was placed in a situation like on Virmire, where Shepard has to choose between someone else in the squad and Liara, but that's the only circumstance that I can really see it working.

No. Liara is not my LI, but she is my favorite non-LI in the game.

Well first off, I'm not offended at the reply Jonata & dgcatanisiri I understand what you're saying.

What the Post is about, and where I said in other replies, is that the DLC isn't about just killing Liara. The DLC is a new mission/story. More character content on others, with Liara (and option of her coming along and option of her being killed) but the Death of Liara is Victorious. It's Honored. Like Grunt's Last Stand. Where it's sacrificial not....demeaning etc........

The Virmire Scene is also an Honored & Sacrifical death, so that too is something I was going at. The list of names I gave on Page 1, is just characters ideas on future DLC story content. I would like to see more of them.

anyway, the thread can be looked at Two Ways:  Hatered or The OP Original Intent (like I described above)

You don't need to kill her off ( that is a bit extreme ), I just wish she wasn't always forced on me all the time. None of my Shepard's and Liara are close enough to be be called friends so I don't understand why she's always behaving in an overly familiar fashion with my Shepard(s) , why she's always in my cabin, why her father calls my Shepard(s) her boyfriend/girlfriend, why I'm forced to do that very intimate mind melding crap at the end of the game with her. I don't even understand why she's on the Normandy, surely she's more useful working on the crucible since she doesn't do squat as an info broker in ME3, couldn't we had an option to recruit her or someone else.

No, I would not pay for the DLC if that was the aim. If it was a choice I would simply choose not to kill her, but then I wonder whats the other side of the coin? What do I have to sacrifice to keep her alive? If they ask me to choose between Liara and Garrus/Tali/Samara/EDI/Kasumi/Zaeed for example? I just wouldn't buy it and again would move on. I love all of the above, Liara is just my LI of choice and a pretty cool character in my book.

No offense meant but I don't get the point of this topic really. I wouldn't buy a DLC for the sole reason that I can get a certain character killed whoever it is, that would be quite silly.

i dont know, but In the game there is much "Liara" and it's annoying

EDIT: A DLC with a "special renegade:devil: dialogue" like: "Stay away from me liara"

I'm not sure why it keeps being repeated that Liara is invincible, when she isn't. She can die at the end of the game just like every other member of the squad.

Of all the things that people could ask for, they would ask for a DLC with the express intent of killing off a character. I honestly don't understand why people, instead of lobbying for more time with their favourite character, would rather lobby for the option to randomly kill off another character.

Seriously, killing Liara off would cause major problems with the game considering she is a fairly plot critical character, and it's a massive waste of resources to get stand in characters for all the points where she's a necessary character. It just seems really petty to want to kill her off, and some people seem to take far too much pleasure at the thought of her dying.
