Why is it just Liara that you want killed off and replaced? Why can't it be any character you don't like and have that character replaced with a better one?

I liked EDI when she was just the Ship's AI

the whole........turning into a body was not impressive to me. Grunt would have been better Squadmate IMO

Not just Liara for the sake of killing Liara, but maybe a Virmire situation. One where a squadmate HAS to die in all outcomes. It could be suicide mission-y, and you have to choose between two of the people you picked for a job. That way you can just pick the character you like the least, and if you go in blind you feel like you lead a character to certian doom. Imagine the scenario, you pick Garrus for a role you think he's the best suited for, and Tali for a role she's best suited for, and then one of them has to die. That would be even more emotional than Virmire, seeing as you assigned them for the roles instead of them being shoehorned into them.

Maybe the next game the writers will let relationships flow more naturally as a result of the PC's dialogue and behavioral choices. That way no one has to feel that any specific NPC is being "forced" upon them. And maybe we won't get so many damn whiny threads about it.

I didn't want to kill her so much; but I agree she had a lot more screentime in ME3 than any other squadmate, the VS, Tali, even James. LI  and others got neglected by comparison, the only one to come close is Garrus and some of the things that come off as Sweet and indeering if you romance Liara come off as...stalkerish for a non-romanced Shepard.

While I appreciate that many feel that Liara is shoved down their throats, I really like her. The solution to the Liara-problem is not to have less of her, but to have more fleshed out material for the other squaddies and not so minor characters. Because when you think about it, she doesn't get much more face time than Javik or "I want to be a real girl"-EDI (she settles for being a "Real Doll ™"), just that the rest get totally shafted.

No thank you, a DLC such as this would be a waste time and throw the story off. The other characters have obligations that prevent them from joining, often associated with their loyalty mission from the second game, or other personal issues. It would be for the lack of a better word 'stupid' to kill Liara, and use space magic on one of the others to make them all of sudden not care about what they were doing. Just because a couple of players miss some of their favorite characters. Now I can sympathize with players who romanced, and enjoyed having one of these characters with them, who felt robbed by their Love Interest not being a squad mate. But as it stands the story surrounding these other characters works.

No DLC where they kill your squadmates. Former or other characters, maybe. Current, no way.

Rant: And characters like Jack, Wrex, Kasumi, Grunt, Jacob, etc... who have their own lives and stories, tasks to complete can not just abandon them to join Shep. It makes no sense. Wrex isn't going to leave the Turians or stop trying to make sure his people take revenge to pal around with Shep. And Wreave, really can you hinsestly see that? The ones like Zaeed, Miranda, Samara who just hang around I can see recruiting them maybe. Anyways, my opinion, but all this "We want ME2 squadmates!" stuff needs to end. The most you'll get from them is some more cameos. If they were going to be squadmates it would have happened already.

No. I don't want anyone getting killed because people ask for it. Liara actually CAN die. it's at the end and you have to be really ****ty to have it happen, but she can die.

How about the other DLC ideas for maybe a smaller crowd:

- TIM as a LI
- Start your own krogan clan
- Decorate the Normandy
- Playmode where you work as a janitor in Normandy and just watch as everything happens around you

Thats just first few that come to my mind.
