End of the day if you make even Shepard kill able in 2 she should be able to be killed off as well. All characters should.

most of them are killable in the suicide mission (even shepard, you can end the trilogy there)

Liara wasn't, not even there.

You can kill Shep in 2, it's just that everybody else has to die so there's no one to help them up in the end.

Everyone knew from the start that Thane was going to die, he got some of an epic last fight and a private death scene. Better than just going to the hospital to see how he chokes to death due to his syndrome I think.

Jacob dumped you, for once a character dumps the protagoninsts, I liked the concept (then for someone who was romancing him sucks)

Regardless, it is a ****** poor way to end a romance.  They didn't even get the paramour achievement/trophy

Not really those recordings were likely scattered before the final battle that's why it's refered to as a back up plan. You set it up before hand incase the original plan falls through, not afterwards.

Incorrect. She talks about fighting as a united galaxy and whatnot, so it heavily implies it was written after Priority:Earth took place.

It was made LONG before Priority: Earth - Bit hard for Liara to set-up the beacons if she's fried by Harbinger during the charge to the beam...

The ones she sets up earlier, that she shows Shep and the one during the refusal ending are not the same. One has glyph and one has Liara. Listen to what Liara says during the refusal option, it is clearly a new (or updated) info box that was made after Shep didn't use the Crucible.

It just says that the crucible didn't work, which was always a possibility since the plan was a long shot to begin with. And again how can she update it if Harbinger killed her?

They missed the opportunity for this during Lair of the Shadow Broker. They could have presented a moral choice before or after the Tela Vasir fight. Vasir offers you the Shadow Broker's information resources and to become a squadmate, which could be more appealing to Paragons since Cerberus is arguably more evil than the SB, but only if you renounce Cerberus and kill Liara.

it comes down to perference. Wrex isn't a character you belong if you're trying to get a lot of creds in ME1....he has no tech skills.  Wrex is great for Insanity Mode (as with Ash) you need those who know how to fight:devil:

Wreav Rulez. He's one of my Fav characters.

The reason is simple: You're supposed to hate Wreav. He was designed that way. Just like TIM. He was evil...yet you liked him. You may not like Wreav just shows how great he is (unless you actually think Wreav is poor character)........but I have a feeling you're K.R.O.G.A.N. Fan:lol:

You really missed out. Zaeed is not only a Great fun & interesting character to bring with during cutscenes.
But when comes to Insanity Mode: Zaeed & Grunt will be great partners to bring with. I was a Vanguard: I would have Zaeed & Grunt for Crowd Control. Grunt never dies....that forification makes him survive the toughest battles. Just keep spamming the Fortification and if Zaeed dies you have Grunt at least with his Krogan Rage.
So I recommend you bringing them if you like a good Challenge. Or just play a quick easy playthrough with them for Fun & show.

Well, it's understandable why they left. But I still believe Bioware will bring back our beloved characters. Heck they brought Harbinger back for MP Trailer.(huge Harbinger fan btw)

So that I'm excited for. I don't believe Bioware would bring the VA just for 50secs and that's it....

Depends on who I'm playing as, my Male Engineer Renegade Shepard would let her die in a heart beat, but right now I'm playing Male Infiltrator Paragon so my Shepard Liara.

But thats my point. In 2 Bioware said anyone of them can die even Shepard. Don't see why Liara should be any different once she joins you in 3.

Garrus and Tali are permanent squadmates in all three games (unlike Liara), I think that's more than enough content.

I never said that "someone else's based DLC" couldn't cover Jack,Thane,Jacob and Miranda

.   My point was the dextro twins got enough content

I only mentioned them because I don't know what could be the main story of a DLC(even post-campaign) about Jack,Thane and Miranda. and maybe also Ashley/Kaidan,since Bioware didn't give 'em love in Mass Effect 2.
But Jacob? Let's be honest,I don't think anyone would buy a DLC where he is the main character. Except if you would be able to kill him. Then I suppose al Jacobmancers would buy it :3

Don't know if anyone has said this, but what I find funny is that Liara was not that important to ME1, you could wait until near the last mission to recruit Liara. She could potentially have the shortest screen time of all the characters (minus Jenkins)

That said I would not kill her off if given the choice, even if I don't like the fact that she is the "default" LI for Shepard.
