That's an interesting point. I agree.

Killing her with a good argmnt might be good, but all I want is to her to stay out of my Shepard sight. I want her to stop invading hepard's privacy.

I don't want the forced best friends forever, even when I said no to her a lot of times in ME and ME2.

They didn't give us an option regarding Liara. She's either your paramour or your bff. She never was any of that to my Shepard.

Too bad that everybody's Shepard was replaced by supermac's Shepard in ME3.

Remmeber LotSB when Shepard has the option to keep things professional with her? one more option that was ignored.

On so many levels THIS!!.....

I don't necessarily have a bloodlust....though I am annoyed the Thessia option was removed....But I am so incredibly SICK of this BFF BS with Liara....I am completely immune to the so called 'Super Sexy Super Race blue space babe' rot....It a shame because I had originally liked Liara in ME1, when she was just one of the squad and I had 'define relationship' choices with her....friend, lover or dislike....but that all changed come the event of the LotSB DLC and has continued to go down hill from there....now I cringe every time she hangs off my Shep yet again....<_<

Greatness. It's nice to see that there's others who understand

Liara is a important part of the story and the cutest thing. too few cute, nerdy and deadly girls out there tbh.

If by "important" you mean "contrived on a retarded scale", then yeah, she's even more important than Shepard.

well .. most of the characters are not at their best in me3 ... shepard included.

Yeah. I have to agree, I was a huge fan of Ashley from ME1 & 2............but ME3 Ash....is HORRIDENOUS.

She's constantly annoying. That whole staying "faithful" to her then BACKSTABBING ME WITH UDINA??? Seriously? WTFFFF

its like they got all new writers for her and actually though the fans wouldn't know?

I would gladly trade Liara away for Samara..

This. So Much This.

As for Shadow Broker operations, I would get Miranda to be the Shadow Broker. She is more capable than Liara

I like this Human. He understands

I though would have just chosen the Renegade option. Have liara killed and make a Deal with the Yahg.

Enough Said

On because the devs made her important. I am sure they could make her unimportant. I am fine with being cute but I am not fine with her not doing her job as a Prothean scientist, a Shadow Broker properly.... & she is not deadly at all. Bring her around on any combat in ME3 on Hardcore or Insanity & she drops down like a wilted leaf . Also Liara is not nerdy in ME3. She was nerdy in ME1. Samantha does a better job at being nerdy

Everything Sin said I agree 100%.

BTW: Zaeed is much more deadly then liara. Grunt is a Freight Machine as a Squadmate on Insanity. His Fortication &I Rage=Urdnot Destroyer

almost every character in me3 went full moron. my shepard hated udina during the games - she used every possible opportunity to mock him or to rub it in. in me3, she had sympathies for him, despite the trouble he made.

dont get me started on anderson, hackett, major fishnchips and all the other smart military minds on earth (including shepard), who are thinking that a frontal assault (with small tanks and light infantry) on a reaper is a good idea.

to get back on topic. i personally like liara in me3 - shes not as cool as in lotsb, but she is at least on the low end of retardiation (imo) - and since my shepard is on friendly terms or in love with her, i have no problem with her in me3.

traynor is more annoying to me - especially the "rubbing up on me" line is awkward, since my shep is not in love with her.

liara is a glass cannon - she does not need to be tough. she has the most usefull mezz in the whole game and can set of warp explosions by herself.

she is not really the shadow broker - she just uses the former brokers infrastructure, to find clues on the reaper threat. i have to agree with her archiological "skills" though ... it like she forgot all her years of research.

Yes, please!

I don't like the fact that...well, Liara is everywhere! (It was even worst pre-EC, when your LI doesn't change a thing at the end-slides!)

It's like my Shepard is getting forced to be Best Friend Forever with Liara.

In Mass Effect 1/2 you still had the choice to be either her LI, Friend or just stay normal with her. Now...*sigh*

Why would they develop DLC specifically designed to kill a squad member? That sounds incredibly morbid and pointless.

I killed Liara's blue a** with a low war asset and combat readiness score. In fact I have killed off everyone in Mass Effect that can die. But I must admit I killed Liara off because I felt that she shouldn't be allowed to get the "get out of jail free card" she was given over the course of the trilogy. Don't get me wrong I don't hate Liara I just wanted to watch her die like everyone else.

Wait a second... people are actively trying to kill characters off? I hate a lot of the me2 squad but I still go out of my way to ensure they survive the suicide mission

Ideally, anyone could die and be replaced. That would give your choices some real weight and if someone died, you knew you screwed up- it's your fault. Give the games a little more player direction and a lot more emotional torque.
