DLC idea: Swap Liara with Legion.

The robot shows more emotion anyway.

I'm now imagining Liara getting stabbed in the back of the neck by Tali.

It's an interesting mental image, to say the least.

I think everyone here is killing someone in real life, if they annoy them or hamper them... Okay lol.

My answer is no. It's simply childish. I'm absolutely not a fan of Liara, mostly due of writers favoritism, but that's no reason to kill her. Of course, I want the other characters showed more, not only a LI, but all of them. In any case, blame "writers favoritism", not a character. Seriously, people...

Furthermore, Shepard owe her life.

Fine, you want to FINALLY be rid of Liara. Shepard remains dead at the beginning of ME2. The story ends there.

I'm not a great fan of her voice actress either who sounded like she was simply reading the words of a sheet of paper most of the time. She could have at least learned her lines fluently.

I don't hate Liara but she frightens me sometimes. She reminds me of one of those crazy fans who believe that when they kill the person they idolize they'll become them.
If I had the option to kill her off I probably wouldn't take it.
But I would definitely think about it.

Too true. some people need to realise that without Liara. There wouldn't be an ME2.

I don't think she's that annoying. But from a fairness and reality standpoint, every character deserves the chance to have a personal death sequence. No one should be protected in ME3.

If a DLC does not allow for that option, then oh well. I wouldn't take it anyway. I'm coming from a more "academic" perspective.

Liara isn't even that plot relevant in ME3. She affects the plot once and that is at the start of the game. The rest is her trying to get in my pants for the entirety of my game.

try to say this with as much respect as possible.

But Liara wasn't much of a SB......

:bandit:

Relevant:

100% Agree

:bandit:

Read her terminal/ go into her room after every mission to see what she does. And do you know that finding Cerberus is her job in the original script ? They have to change it to Traynor to give her something to do
Funny, some people keep complaining her screen times and why she goes into Shepard room and she does nothing as a SB when she goes there to give Shepard urgent intel and care for a friend, or  do you want Vega to do that ?

I think keep hating a fiction charater doesn't bring your favorite charater or yourself any good. First, you make a hate thread base on a picture and now this :(
Just sad

Oh for f*ck's sake. Why would I want to kill Liara. Why. The only times I resent her is when the writers give me more meaningful moments with her as a friend than they give me with my LI as a freaking soulmate. This has nothing to do with Liara and everything to do with BioWare. She is completely fine as a character and I actually enjoyed her friendship arc in ME3 immensely outside of the moments where I was overwrought with longing for my actual LI who barely got any mention at all, and even that was more than Thane and Jacob fans got.

Seriously, she actually contributes quite a bit to the game for me and if I didn't feel like she was forced on me from time to time she would probably be among my top ten faves. They really upped her writing in LotSB and ME3. There were times when she made me laugh. Laugh. Liara.

Yeah. Bioware should totally waste resources into another pointless death scene instead of actually doing something interesting in the next DLCs, just because your imaginary girlfriends got smaller roles and a badly done sex scene.

Anyway, I'ld like to see more Miranda and Jack in the game. Especially the former. We have enough Liara, Tali and Garrus as it is.

I do not support the killing of Liara.

in ME2 we had 12 squadmates (with Kasumi and Zaeed).
In ME3 we have 7 squadmates (with Javik)

5 slots that bioware could have allowed us to fill with some of the ME2 characters.
is it too much to ask..

I like this human! He understands!

Create support threads for characters that you love instead of hate threads for characters you hate.

any added death scene (or sex/romace scene for that matter) should not be thrown in arbitrarily. It needs to be relevant to the DLC story and tie into the main plot of ME3. Otherwise, you get Firewalker...

Without Liara the Ilusive Man would just use any other tool to get the body, big deal.

Why does Liara, or any character for that matter have to to be killed off or replaced? Wouldn't it be better to continue to add more characters to interact with through future DLC. The more the merrier I say.

Incorrect. Without Liara, the shadow broker gets the body and hands it to the Collectors.

Liara has stalker scenes? Oh you mean those two scenes where she gives you intel and tells you important stuff in your room? That's stalking?

When you wake up and she's waiting there for you it does come off as a bit stalkerish.

Exactly, it ain't the fictional characters fault.

Instead of making pointless threads like this, how about people turn their attention towards rallying support for DLC that includes the more neglected characters?
