There are two voices that are bugging me, though. Dagna (the dwarf female who wants to be a mage) and Wade's apprentice/boyfriend/whatever at his shop in Denerim.

Dagna sounded a bit like Nicholle Tom, who's not in the credits listed earlier. What about the other? Is that Cummings or someone else?

Shale's VA is Geraldine Blecker. I made a WTF face when I saw her name in the ending credits.

It's not just the famous names, but the sheer volume of voice actors. Compare to Oblivion which recycled the same voices over and over.



I am shocked at how much development time and resources went into DAO.

imbd says Berry Ellis did Shale, I don't know if that's accurate. I thought at first it was the same actor that did HK-47 in KOTOR and was waiting for him to call me meatbag. It's not him though.

We don't have accents, we have English - Americans have the accents, cus its not your language Sorry, couldn't resist.

Actually, English *IS* their language. Go back to school and ask your History teacher.

Last time I checked, the east coast of America used to be a series of English colonies (at least in part), until the Amricans woke up and kicked the English back across the pond.

So tell us again how it's not 'their' language?

I think Betsy Beutler voiced Dagna.

Bleh, I won't accept the general consensus for Jon Curry being the VA for Zevran. I swear by my undead mother that it's Bruno Campos. Just saw Princess and the Frog with my gf and I immediately picked up Zevran and the more I listened the more I was sure. I resist your statements! =o

It took me a few run ins with Flemeth to get who she was. It was driving me nuts.

From the parts I've played so far in Dragon Age I feel pretty impressed with the voice acting as a whole. I think they've done well in setting a tone for the game and holding it. Following the journey of the characters is very well worth it when the acting is good!

And agree about Tim Curry being a sensational voice actor...as for the person who brought up his appearance in the movie Clue! I never thought I'd hear mention of that movie again.

Claudia Black made the game for me... voiced Morrigan extremely well. And Kate Mulgrew as Flemeth? lol... that was great
