Put Miranda and Javik in there and I'd shut up.
EDIT: also: make Liara and Aria trade-offs, as well as Miranda and Jack

Yes, love the addition of Aria, would love to have her as a squad mate.

Alot of people seem to be disappointed with the squad selection in ME3, paritcularly the lack of ME2 characters. So how about this squad? Add in Liara, Vega & Javik & I think it'd be perfect. Though, I say replace Wrex with Grunt. Wrex is awesome, but's the leader of the Krogan, he can't be messing around with Shepard when he has a people to lead into battle.

All we have is guesswork. I think they ultimately decided that the ME2 cast wasn't where the money was at. Too many of them could be dead. A lot of them aren't even alive in the default, and none of them are loyal in it.Ticonderoga117 wrote...
Why can't we just have the ME2 squad?
We spent all that time putting the bloody team together! If you loose someone, too bad! They're dead, you loose out on whatever niche they filled.
Choices and consequences!

Basically, the way they designed ME2 ensured that the characters they forced us to bond with would be dropped.
I actually think it had much more to do with ME2. ME3 simply worked according to the rules of their import system, which was present even in ME2. It basically says, "If the player had to go out of their way to do it, it didn't happen in the default."Ticonderoga117 wrote...

You mean how ME3 was designed, since like you said, the default is dead/unloyal.
And too bad, you didn't play ME1 or 2, you don't get the "choices and consequences" you want.
(For systems like the PS3, the comic would have to suffice, so that fills that problem)
If it was intentional... ugh... more reason to despise the "choices" they made in production.

You need to go out of our way to upgrade the Normandy and do everyone's loyalty mission. Thus, they never happened in the default. Thus, several people are dead and all are unloyal.

Replace Aria with Miranda, Mordin with Kirrahe, and Wrex with Grunt and it would be perfect. Maybe also EDI instead of Legion. I feel like Mordin Wrex and maybe Legion had better things to do in this game.
