Definitely no preorder, no matter what flashy things they'll try to bait me with, and no chance of a day-1-purchase. I'll check out user reviews and the BSN before even thinking about buying it sometime after release. Chances are I'll be waiting for a "DA3 Complete Edition".

From the seems of it, a much sufficient amount of gamers will buy the game on/pre release.
That's one more argument for holding back on suggesting the game, rather acting against it and also for not buying it - the franchise will live on, but they'll need to make a significant step back (not "downwards" (quality wise) but rather backwards as in "back on tracks") if they'll ever want a success in merit of die-hard fan-support - the factor which made Origins such a success and gave ][ a pretty good sales-rate (in merit of again, Origins)... :)
Here's to DA3 being better but having equal or less sales than DA2! :wizard: Skoll!

DA3 is a must have for me, but I will wait for reviews first. Most likely I will get the game very soon after release if the game turns out to be good.

I'm intent on getting it for $20 or less on craigslist, even if it's good. I paid $60 for the joke that was DA2 and won't make that mistake again. Can't wait to see what kind of silly EA pass they tack on too.

What if you were able to rebel against said organizations?berelinde wrote...
If the protagonis is a Seeker, an Inquisitor, or anyone even remotely connected to any (Thedosian) political or religious organization, guaranteed no sale. Otherwise, guaranteed pre-order.
Edit: Couldn't vote in the poll. No option for "Will definitely preorder unless game features unacceptable protagonist."

You might be waiting for a long time if it performs like DA2.
I'm down with that.

Not until I know what I'm getting.
Not what it's promoted as, what it actually is.

Dragon age II was worth the price to me, despite the problems. I'm so buying it.

there's thing i'm rather fond of called a DEMO. i actually wasn't going to get DA2 at all (the exclusion of a race origin STILL ticks me off). but after i played the demo, i just couldn't resist the temptation. whatever the DA3 demo looks like will probably decide it for me.
