So yeah, I have become completely obsessed with the Soul Eater anime. I am mostly through the second season and I cannot get enough. Am I alone? Please tell me I'm not. Please don't let me be that guy.

There are two good examples of Japan-imation.
1) Akira. One of the best movies ever.
2) 1/3 to maybe 1/2 of Cowboy Bebop.
The rest is terrible.

That's because they had to compress 2100 pages of manga into a 2 hour movie. Admittedly, the manga is not vastly more coherent plot-wise, but the pacing and character development is a lot better obviously.slimgrin wrote...

Not so. Watch Cowboy Bebop, Samurai 7, or Fullmetal Alchemist. All have great and focused stories and characters.
