Stat wise if you want to max Rapid Shot you need a dex of 50. That plus master archer will give you the same speed bonus as momentum. Not sure about putting points into cun since it does not effect your to hit.



To hit is not a big deal on melee rogues since you will try to move into flanking position for backstabs which gives a huge to hit bonus - up to +20. It is much harder to flank with archery.

I have read it increases chance to hit (with bows) so it indirectly increases damage. But no backstabbing with bows.

Rapid aim is confusing me



Can I wear 2 Rapid aim pieces and then get 0.6% faster? or it caps at one piece?



I also hear that the equipment doesn't stack with the buff , which seems true



Does Aim (Buff) + Rapid aim gear even out to regular attack speed?



Does haste + rapid aim do anything?

Cunning would increase your damage against armored enemies with your bow, since Cunning gives you more armor penetration.

Haste actually slows down attack speed on archery. Don't waste a talent point on it.



I actually prefer the DEX archer to the CUN archer. If you make him Assassin/Duelist he's a damage machine. All you want from assassin is MoD, and you want ALL duelist talents. The last one is spectacular, you just have to switch to melee weapon to use the skill and then switch back to your bow right away... then you'll get like 10 straight shots of critical hits.



If you do go CUN archer you'll want Bard/Duelist. Song of Courage is great and you'll need Duelist for the +10 to attack (you need as much as you can get because of the low dexterity).



The main reason I prefer the DEX archer is because misses really annoy me, I mean REALLY annoy me.
