Ok, so Wynne gains a unique plot ability at some (random?) point in the game. That's pretty cool as it does something to set her apart from the rest of the party, not to mention what the P/C is capable of.

But what about the other party members? Does anyone else learn a Plot ability and I just haven't gotten there yet?

It strikes me that the other party members would be made much more interesting--and useful--if they all had access to some abilities that the rest didn't.

Let's use Morrigan as an example: Shapeshifting is pretty botched in the game as it is, but if she learned a completely unique and high-powered shapeshift after you give her Flemeth's Grimoire it might add a unique spin that could actually make it useful (who WOULDN'T want access to the Fade Spirit form in the "real" world? Or their very own High Dragon?) Or maybe some other set of spells that is completely unique to her.

It sounds like a wasted opportunity to have come up with the idea of Plot abilities, but only implementing them for one character.

The fact that the P/C can learn any ability (class and Spec-dependent) that the party can in some ways takes a bit a way from them.

It's not part of Wynn's personal quest. I usually get it long before the topic of "regrets" ever comes up with her.

Whatever it STILL requires getting high approval from her to get to that point

There's really nothing more to that ability?  I figured it was the start of some sort of quest.
