1.) No viruses.
2.) Unix-based instead of buggy Windows code.
4.) Better hardware build quality (the unibody MacBook Pros are incredible).
5.) Arguably better GUI.
6.) AND every new Mac is also a PC so you can play every game and program you referred to.

2) You'll have to explain that point in greater detail if you want it acknowledged.
What happened to 3)?
4) Even if this is not the bull it smells like, it's not twice as good. Still not worth the money.
5) We disagree.
6) Except DA, apparently.
And enough with the kneejerk troll accusations already! All it tells me is that you are feeling very defensive, which leaves me free to speculate as to what you might have to be defensive about.

Dang! I would've waited if I'd known. I'm using bootcamp and running the PC version my iMac, quite easily too, I might add.
Still I would have waited and gladly spent more if I'd known a Mac version was coming, simply to continue to support Mac gaming.
As an aside, how long did it take you guys to download a 17G game?

1) Use some protection. Avast is free, updated daily or more, and hasn't let anything through in the several years i have used it. Nonissue.

My Mac doesn't have a 3 key?
I didn't accuse you of being a troll. Just wanted to know if you wanted an honest answer or you were just looking for a chance to hammer your opinion home.
And I've been playing DA on a MacBook Pro using Bootcamp and XP. Got the game for the 360 and my darn wife plays it every night so I had to find another method.
It plays great using Bootcamp. But I'm downloading the Mac version so I don't have to always boot into XP.
Yes, Macs are more expensive., but plenty of folks think they're worth the price. I always find it funny that computers are the one place where people act like price isn't an indicator of quality. Porsches are pricier than Pintos, but you'll have a hard time finding people who'll argue the Pinto is just as good because they'll both get you to the grocery store.

your porsche-pinto example is more akin to mac vs commodore than mac vs pc.Caughill wrote...

The amusing part of this analogy is that my PC has much better hardware that you can find in any licensed Mac. Indeed, that's almost always the case. Perhaps my PC is the Maserati to your Porsche.

I use a Macbook Pro and I tried this, it did not work, but then I tried using the original @ button on my keyboard instead of the 2 button. Ctrl+Alt+@
It now works.
