I don't like trying to carry as a level 1. It's... unhappy.

Sad thing is, my first game at release was like this. Had to carry the team of 3 level 10+ as a level 1 infiltraitor through wave 9+10.  Im assuming it was because those 3 hadnt played the demo much if at all, while I played it for quite a bit.

I know the feeling.

Considered messaging them, since I was actually really confused. Thought better of it, but yeah... sometimes, you might not know why you got kicked.

Yeah, that's how I feel. I played a few matches after that, but it does still bother me.

I may try messaging them tomorrow, when I get back on, to ask why/what I did wrong.

I know the weekend op requires bronze games but my question is why are N7's over 1000 playing bronze? and if they are doing it for the op then they shouldn't mind carrying players...or do you actually carry on bronze?

I am over 1100N7 and I play bronze. Is it bad? Should I be ashamed?
Not more than a month ago I was little over 400N7 but I started to promote more frequently.
Then I set myself a goal to reach 1kN7 rank, for lulz. It means nothing, to be honest.
I just like promoting, it's refreshing. Not just playing the same lvl20 character, there is no improvement, it's just hte same, all the way.
I don't play for money, I got everything maxed out, but rares. I just play because I like to play.

I never kick on bronze, very rarely on silver. I'm mostly the host, but someone has to be a very selfish jerk to get a kick vote from me, like no teamwork at all, being a jerk in-game.
But I don't look at someone's N7 just to judge him. I played with 100 +/- and they were great, their skill, playstyle, teamwork was better than some high N7 ranked players. You shouldn't judge a book just by seeing it's cover.

And well, even when I was 500N7 I carried a team on my shoulders quite often. In time I improved, it did me good to promote more frequently - you can try some other builds for the characters. Since the Earth DLC came out I actually tried all classes(earlier I played only vanguard class). I improved through playing, I see that.
Now I carry a team very often, but I don't mind. When I see someone down, I rush to revive him, since the stomp-rate got higher, sure it got me killed some times, but I won't keep shooting enemies when my squadmate is bleeding out. You could say many more examples.

Rep doesn't mean anything on Xbox...

Exactly, the rep system is described poorly. It says something like "x% of the people that've played with you..." but should continue to say "...and bothered to submit a review on you" People that have a complaint (fair or not) are far more willing to go out of their way to make a statement than people who are satisfied in life.

In your case, who knows why they were determined to be pr*cks? You did nothing wrong so don't worry about it

I don't understand Bronze kicking mentality either.

neither can I.  I haven't come across anyone I couldn't carry through a bronze match, no matter the ridiculous setup that I am using.  That says a lot about their abilities if they were struggling with you in the lobby....

kicking on bronze is kinda stupid. Unless the person was afk the entire match there really is not a reason to do it.

People are jerks sometimes. Hell... I got an avoid just now for quitting early, merely because I left in the lobby, after experiencing some terrible lag with the host during the previous game.

So yesterday I had the urge to kick someone on bronze because that guy refused to come to the EZ on wave 11.

It took me 20 mins to search a London game... I was angry but I left the lobby and soloed silver...

Maybe you didnot extract?

Kicked on Bronze? You weren't playing with normal people (judging from your incident, for in other cases, people want a friend to come in, so they kick, which is not true in your case)

I enjoy it. :o

Gold and even Silver is a little to much like work.

I also use equipment on Silver and Gold and the last 2 events that required Silver and Gold games left me cleaned out of most of my good stuff. On Bronze I just equip my Commando III and play, so it allows me to build up my equipment for the next Gold, Silver or God forbid a Platinum challenge.

The 5 or so silver games I've played I scored 2nd in 4 and 3rd in 1. The 6 gold games I've played I got top score in 4 and 2nd and 3rd in the others. So I am a decent player, nowhere near outstanding, but decent.

After the bad experience yesterday, the next lobby I got in was filled with some great guys. The host asked everyone if they minded if we upped it to Gold. We agreed, I just asked for a few moments to equip some of my better equipment. He went with W/G/G so I figured some easy credits were coming my way.

It went great until wave 7 or 8 pretty sure it was wave 8. No deaths so far, no missiles had to be used up to that point and I was already counting my credits. We completed the wave and there was only 1 enemy left. It was a Hunter that me or the other guy behind the counter had melee killed, but it still showed as alive and was glitched into the floor and totally invincible.

We tryed for around 4 minutes to kill it. I even unloaded a missile into it. There was no way to die as we had cleared the wave so we had to quit. :crying:

I called it a day after that.

Nope. Out of around 12 matches yesterday I only missed extraction on one and it wasn't either of the 2 matches with them. We got full extraction on both of those.

I always go for extraction to help those leveling up their characters.

No such thing as an elitists playing bronze. Or silver, or even gold now for that matter. If your elite, your playing U/U/P.

There is a difference between elitist and elite.

Because I'm N7 1710 and I've never used a Drellguard. They're squishy and I wanted to get a feel for it before trying anything more difficult.

Because I can't get a hang of that Acolyte pistol and wanted some practice that didn't involve burning medigel in wave 3.

Because I haven't played in 2 weeks and I'm out of practice.

Shall I continue?

I have been in the same situation but the guy at the bottem actually stayed in with a kick on the leader of the two dumbasses and when I took my vote off the other took the vote off me for a second and put it on his friend. Boom I imediatly put the lick baxk on him and get a message that said "****" and nothing else. They were trying to kick me because I had a claymore on an adrenaline rush soldier and they were dumb most likely 12-13 year olds but it was entertaining since they were both booted instead of me or the other.
