I know the weekend op requires bronze games but my question is why are N7's over 1000 playing bronze? and if they are doing it for the op then they shouldn't mind carrying players...or do you actually carry on bronze?
I am over 1100N7 and I play bronze. Is it bad? Should I be ashamed?
Not more than a month ago I was little over 400N7 but I started to promote more frequently.
Then I set myself a goal to reach 1kN7 rank, for lulz. It means nothing, to be honest.
I just like promoting, it's refreshing. Not just playing the same lvl20 character, there is no improvement, it's just hte same, all the way.
I don't play for money, I got everything maxed out, but rares. I just play because I like to play.
I never kick on bronze, very rarely on silver. I'm mostly the host, but someone has to be a very selfish jerk to get a kick vote from me, like no teamwork at all, being a jerk in-game.
But I don't look at someone's N7 just to judge him. I played with 100 +/- and they were great, their skill, playstyle, teamwork was better than some high N7 ranked players. You shouldn't judge a book just by seeing it's cover.
And well, even when I was 500N7 I carried a team on my shoulders quite often. In time I improved, it did me good to promote more frequently - you can try some other builds for the characters. Since the Earth DLC came out I actually tried all classes(earlier I played only vanguard class). I improved through playing, I see that.
Now I carry a team very often, but I don't mind. When I see someone down, I rush to revive him, since the stomp-rate got higher, sure it got me killed some times, but I won't keep shooting enemies when my squadmate is bleeding out. You could say many more examples.
