So, ive installed DA now for the 2d time on another pc. with my dissapointment i saw that when i logged in to my onnline account my past char from the 1st pc i installed it on was gone. just like the shale quest that i couldnt do with a new char on the other pc. Anyone who can help me get my old files back? ive heared the idea to copy the save file. but will i get back the shale quest on a new char as well? any other idea's or something thats alot easier then copy the files from the 1st pc i installed it on?

Yeah, as I understand your character files are not stored online although information on the is sent to the internet. The only things that should have tansfered over was the ability to download and install the DLC that you have acitvated on your account. If you need your old files back you should be able to put them on a disc/USB drive (or jump drive or flash drive or whatever). They can usually be found in <username>\\documents\\bioware\\dragonage\\characters.

do i get shale back aswell for the other chars if i just copy my old save files from the characters map?
