What Companions Would You Prefer For DA3?!

I know several of these have been done :) but it is something I felt like doing. I would love to see lots of people from DAO return but its all up to BioWare. In my personal opinion I would like Cassandra and Tallis to be permanent companions in DA3. And for those of us who aren't a Tallis fan(and I don't mean you're a hater. Because everyone is intitled to their own opinions.) But for us who don't like her give us the option to kill her in the story and that would be the end of it :). I personally enjoyed having her around and fighting with her. Her confusing personality humored me. And Cassandra became a favorite when I watched the DA Film. I loved her since then. So with better combat added in the game she'd fit perfectly! So share yor thoughts and lets be respectful to each other:D

I would like to see  Cassandra come back as a LI and Nate/Nathaniel Howe as a LI . But I'm sure they'll pack them all in  DA3.:bandit:

Never thought about the Desire Demon! Very interesting to me in fact to see how that would work. But who knows...

Don't forget Jowan. He should have been a LI in  DAO but it was cut. Stupid mistake on their part.:bandit:

New people, returning characters tend to get hurt in the transition. Though I wouldn't mind Cullen, the conflict of a Templar who feels betrayed by the Templar Order but has fears of the mages could be great.

Both the games DA:O and DA: 2 had great companions and interesting side/companion quests surrounding them....Playing as my Warden was utterly satisfying and enjoyable, but my Hawke disappearing somewhere in Thedas was a bit confusing and incomplete for me, and I would like to know more about him in the upcoming DA game, and for that I would love to see his companions back, like Merrill, Fenris and Varric who know everything about his rise and disappearance... I would also love to see either Bethany or Carver in the upcoming game to know the impact on their lives after Hawke's mysterious departure...... Cassandra and Leliana are looking out for Hawke so they will be in the next game for sure...even Tallis after her DLC cameo in DA: 2

I like all characters in DA:O except Oghren; so anyone but him is something i would appreciate. The only ones i could stand in DA2 was Varric and Aveline. Now, Aveline and Varric wasn't the most interesting Bioware characters i have ever experienced but at least they weren't one dimensional like the others.

As for former characters that was not party members in DA:O and DA2 i think Cullen and Connor would be very interesting. If they tone down some of the righteousness of Cullen.

Sebastian Vael.

Despite the complete lack of development that he suffered in Dragon Age 2, Sebastian Vael is in an excellent position to become an incredible character. He has passion, he has depth, he has history, and he has complexity.

And everyone is going to argue against that, but there's my opinion anyway.

There are many possibilities of who could be your companions for DA3. I wonder though will the number of companions remain the same or will it increase or decrease? Probably not but I kinda would like the idea of having more companions to choose from. But that's just me.

I agree with u on that. Sebastian is a must for DA3 . Why they made him a DLC companion is beyond me .

Yeah. I'm not the biggest fan of Sebastian (partially because it seems like the game is purposefully preventing me from romancing him) but he should definitely be a companion for DA3 for the listed reasons.

I dont think Nathaniel could be a companion because depending on your choices, he could be dead.

NHowe Fan : Aw, Nathaniel could possibly dead he couldn't be a companion in the next DA game.
Bioware : RETCON!

Have faith, my friend.

Cassandra seems inevitable. Aside from that, I would love to see Nathaniel, Varric, a new Kossith companion and 2 new elven companions. Don't really care about anyone else.

From existing DA characters: Cassandra, Cullen and Bethany/Carver. Everyone else should be new.
