Ok. so if you have happend to do the mission where you defend the village from the evil that comes at nightfall and your with ser perth and tomas and those people, around level 6 or 7 im at.But the point being that I am stuck in a cycle where no monster come but the fight music is still playing and all the npcs like ser perth tell me to look around and stay alert and there are surely monsters lurking about, ive walked the whole village and back to tomas and ser perth a hundred times, even into the green clouds where the monsters come out of and there is nothing there....please help because i cannot proceed I have one save point for this character and it is in the middle of the mission so this characters only hope is to go foward through this

Look around again. I have had to hunt down that last zombie hiding in the village in my last two playthroughs. One time it was stuck behind a house (and I had to range fight it) and one time it was on the beach by the lake.

I had a similar thing happen where nothing would advance after the Redcliffe attack, there were no enemies left, and the fight music played on.  For me, there was one corpse still lurking who hadn't spawned yet, and someone else on the forums said the same thing.  He's usually down by the docks and he doesn't spawn till you're right on top of him.  Keep walking around those buildings and hopefully he'll pop out.

You might also want to try saving and shutting down the console. I've found delays like this happen when I've been playing for a few hours.



Good ol' restart solves everything.

I had this happen to me once. It was like I killed everything too quickly and the monsters just told their boss they were going on strike.



I've had the odd critter get stuck behind a building before but this was different.



I believe one of the creatures spawned in such a way they may have fallen through the map. A clipping issue as it were.



Nothing will fix this as the creature is saved in the same position. Only thing you can do is hit the last save before the fight and redo it.

Funny. I fell through the map once.

look behind the blacksmith shop on the docks. one or two darkspawn get stuck down there and the dot wont show till you are right on top of them
