I have an oddity I can't seem to fix....
I've added voiceovers to my NPC's in the module. I did this by adding the voiced lines from the \\override folder to the conversation sound nodes.
NO problem if I play the module Single Player, but as soon as I run the NWN2 server and log in via LAN, the NPC voices no longer work.....have i missed something obvious, or is it a bit trickier? I assumed the sounds were saved into the .mod file, and that everyone who had the file would hear the voiced dialogue???
Any help appreciated.

They're not saved into the mod unless you add them to the mod or hak. You say you have them in the override folder.
/also, I strongly advise working in directory mode.

The files are in my override folder and my friends override folder....no dice.
How do I add them to the .mod file??? Sorry, it's been a few years since I did NWN2 editing >.<

The easiest way would be to save to directory mode, then you can just copy the sound files to the directory. You can save back to mod afterwards if you want, but it's not necessary, nwn2 can play from directory just fine.

Ok, I've added the sound files to the directory as you described, and run the module from the directory version. The conversation files will still not play in Multiplayer although they work fine in Single Player.
I also patched to the latest version of the game......something must be broken, it just makes no sense :{
