Those who says that MIke - that's not true. If anyone in RL is to blame that its EA.
And guitarmouse , you avatar is fantastic.

Uh... unchecked a Blight could destroy most of Thedas. DAO only turned out as well as it did because that Blight was still in its infancy. I also don't count the fact of a player PC + three others, and some random helpful NPCs killing an Archdemon translating into "archdemons are weak."Spicen wrote...
Archdemons are far too weak to be the real enemy, Flemeth also too weak.
As for Flemeth, we know next to nothing about her, so you can't say whether she is weak or not. From what I've observed, she seems to know about events in advance, plans her actions around them, as well as tries to set other events in motion to satisfy her own (secretive) motivations.

The whole narrative of Dragon Age may present several obstacles or questionable entities that are meant to challenge and/or foil the efforts of the protagonists, and it could just be the general struggle, the journey of the mortal coil, that is the grand "enemy" we end up fighting against. Seems to me that the greatest threat in Thedas, thus far, is mortalkind itself. The fears, the prejudices, the attempts to grasp power, hubris - all things which can breed hate, cause oppression, and can nudge people ever closer to fighting amongst themselves. Maybe that's not going to give us a Night on Bald Mountain sort of winged demon to fight when the series winds down, but I think it could make for a pretty interesting (and engrossing) story overall.
I hope not. I've already had a few of those in WoW, don't need another one.Chaos Lord Malek wrote...
I bet there will eventually be some kind of *lovercraft* type monster/god that wants to chew on everything...

Darkspawn, evil blood mages who want power and slaves, the chantry, the demons that would stop at nothing to exit the fade and go into Thedas and do bad things
I'm not sure about individuals though
maybe there is some person who is behind some of the above mentioned things

They are the enemy, and they are the salvation.
People caused the golden light to become a black rip in the Fade. People agree to deals with the demons that came through the breach in the Fade. (This is the Golden-light/Black-breach theory. Corypheus never once mentions a city. Only a light.)
People used the Chant to oppress. (The Chant does nothing on its own.) People use the Qun to conquer. (The Qun does nothing on its own.) People use magic and weapons to kill. (They don't do that on their own. Even possessed weapons and magical traps were created by someone.)
Yet, people also use the Qun and Chant to find purpose and peace. People use magic and tools (even weapons) to help and protect. People are denying demons all of the time (personal and Fade).
In the end, it's people that are the enemy and also the saviors.

Yeah EA and subsequently BioWare are the enemy of Thedas and also the enemy of the Mass Effect Universe. It's so sad to see it happen.
Well I have been told that It was Cerberus was the Greatest threat of Mass Effect, Not the Reapers or EA.
