Well, with Rogues you have to think what you want to do. Essentially you have 3 types.
-Melee
-Range
-Practicality
So you can put points into Dual Wielding and go with Duelist/Assassin specializations.
Or put all your points into Archery (Arrow of Slaying is my favorite) and do Ranger/Assassin or Ranger/Bard. I prefer assassin since Bard tends to wear on stamina, as does Ranger.
And of course do you want to be able to detect traps? Pick locks? etc.
One thing is for sure. Stealth helps no matter the build.
Best thing is to experiment. I can give you my build though.
Rogue (Duelist/Assassin)
All Dual Wielding Talents. Assassin Talents. All Rogue talents except for Mechanisms. (I have Lelianna pick the locks.)
It's fun and backstabbing never worked so well.
Have fun.

Well i would prefer dark and green camouflage for a Ranger.
Rouge seems a littlebit unfitting. I mean... for what do you need red make up?

I wonder if that is how 'Will Scarlet' got his name? Because he was a Rouge?

IMO, ranger talents are kind of useless. I only played one until about level 7, that is until I got tired of dying so frequently. Of course, that was because of the way I was playing. I was expecting high DPS, but IMO, a ranger/archer build should be used as a support role... that is a scout that can stealthily detect and disarm traps, build traps, use the pet as a supporting tank, etc. A DW ranger build might be a better choice for DPS.

Ranger's only real use is for Solo's, but tbh, that's just cheating imo. The whole point of a solo is doing it on your own.

Ranger's pet are wonderful if you've 1 or more Blood Mages in the party.
They're the perfect target for Blood Sacrifice.
