Nah, Tali's voice actor seemed to have recorded too. I think it was time/resources really, but who knows. It was cut, so thats that.

Added the links to my last post.  Anyways, make what you will of it.

Yeah, most of those are the same you'd get as male Shep, the only thing that changes is Shep's voice actor.

No, I'm not a shipper it's a legitimate question. She is probably the most loving of all the people Shepard meats (Minus...Kelee? Whatever her name was) And she really is attached to Shepard. Ether of em. SO why is she a M Only LI?

Or maybe he likes species with female attributes.

*Feminime voice
*Body
*Gentleness
etc........

hence the reason he can be classified as straight.

With that "reasoning", he could be classified as bisexual as well.

There's ovbiously more. He just looks for female attributes rather than male.

I'd be down with that. But Tali is explicitly a "virginal" character, so perhaps femshep could be that open-minded gal showing her it's okay to like other species... and their females?

It would make sense... also it seems kinda renegade, and I keep hearing femshep is best played as a renegade.

Tali's not a FemShep LI because Bioware wanted my Shepard to be forever alone. :(

Hey OP, how about actually looking first... Everything has been discussed there. Tali isn't into women. Move on.

Because she's straight.

I'm glad Bioware didn't go the DA2 route and just have every character be bisexual. The characters should at least be somewhat realistic, and as such they should have defined sexual preferences that the player character can't get them to change. Some characters should be heterosexual, some homosexual, and some bisexual. Those that are heterosexual should be completely unavailable for the same sex just as homosexual characters should be unavailable to characters of the opposite sex.

I generally agree though I too would have liked Tali to be available for a FemShep.  Or it would have been nice to have another central companion available in ME2.  No, Kelly Chambers (shudders) doesn't cut it.  Jack would have seemed a logical choice since it's insinuated through conversation she's been down that road.

"looks at thread & sees a few feminist replies"Bioware didn't want this to be sex fantasy 3.To the comment that said everyone is bisexual in Mass Effect is either a moron(even though I think 95% percent of every living thing is)or socially awkward around straight people in reality & thinks there opinion only matters. There is such heterosexual.Just get over it.Since i know I'll be bashed for my **** opinion.I'm gone.

Have you entertained the notion that perhaps Tali isn't into girls? Just a thought.^_^

Have you entertained the notion that perhaps Tali isn't into girls?

What you meant to say is: "Have you entertained the notion that perhaps Tali isn't into human women?"

Then you engage your brain, and realise that Tali probably wouldn't have any baseline interest in human males either - much like Garrus, the basis for this relationship is their shared experiences.

Remember: All Tali cares about is that Shepard has a penis. Looks, personality, beliefs, actions don't matter at all (unless you actually get her killed).
Yeah, you're right, that's just like real life.

 But Quarians look almost exactly like us. Quarian females are attractive to me, Quarian males aren't. I don't think it's hard to fathom why that would be; and forthwith how vice-versa the principle can apply. You're looking far too deeply into this issue.

Really all you can ultimately say is deal with it. I didn't much care what her orientations were, as long as they remain consistent. Now however, we know she's impliedly (via the logical mechanics of relationships in the game) straight. The end.

If you're Bisexual you're Bisexual.

It isn't the least bit realistic to think that everyone would be Bisexual in the future.

Except for all those people going through phases, or do you say they just dabbled and realized it wasn't for them, they simply were born straight?

Don't speak in absolute truths.

Nature versus nurture for homosexuality is one of the dumbest arguments man has ever had. Who cares and it just reeks of poliitcal correctness.

This is a video game, and if people want more LI than one or two a game I don't blame them. It would water down the cast and crew of the Normandy if everyone was potentialy the same and available. But I could never turn Tali away!

I'm not a Fem Shep player myself, but I think the last thing she needed was more female love interests. In fact, Fem Shep was actually lacking in male options in Mass Effect 3. Straight Fem Sheps can potentially end up 'forever alone' in ME3 due to lack of options, whereas Traynor, Allers and Liara are always available for bisexual or lesbian Fem Sheps regardless of choices made regarding LIs in previous games.

I've seen some female gamers complain that Bioware was catering more to male Fem Shep players than female, by having there be more female LI options for Fem Shep than male. I think they have a legitimate complaint.
