So far, I was able to play offline even if it had trouble logging me in.

However, this time, when I try to play offline, it says that it can't find some of my items from DLC that I downloaded.  I tried to resolve the issue by deleting and redownloading the offending items from the XBOX dashboard. Now, I can't play at all because I can't even download these items because the server is down.

Has anyone run into this problem? Any suggestions on how to resolve the issue?

That is, when you can connect again... Many people have had this issue, and this thread fixed it for me.
